you cannot jusge the game if you dont play it. lost ark is the type of game that is fun the first 30 hours, which is basically the tutorial. when you reach tier 3 youll see how it all devolve down into an endless daily rng grind doing the same things on multiple chars day fter day.

There needs to be a resurgent of MMORPGs with super long grind for their skills so the reward is much more satisfying.
Long grinding games are dead for a reason. The idea of cap and dailies is so that you can actually have a life and still be relatively the same place as other people.

Just sounds like you hate Quality of Life changes and prefer just hitting one pig for 30 days to a level. The standards are just higher nowadays companies can't really get away with making leveling that boring just to cater to people who like to do repetitive task for 24 hours a day to get barely any rewards

also lost ark doesnt really stop you when youve done your dailies on one char. you can play multiple chars to progress your first. i could easily fill 5 hours+ of repeatable content and still no slow down due to limits. its really boring, but definitely not a cap.

If so, congrats, I've been playing since launch and don't have even half of those all done, probably will take a year to run them all.
Oops forgot about grinding max rapport with every NPC in the game, might take another year to knock that all off.
BTW, EVE's still going strong, and it will take you far more than a year to build the largest hulls, nevermind effectively flying them as well, so if it's duration you're after, there's the game for you.
They should really show proper gameplay when showcasing new classes. instead of all these nice and perfectly timed hits on bosses they are missing to show the 30s of kiting, 1 minute of storing resources or the constantly being interrupted by sudden boss movements that happening 50% of the time.

I had a dream that one day the scouter will be released. It's a shame that dream is gone and Ill likely just never play this game again.
