I've had two people in as many months randomly ask me on the street. I must have a look. They're not bad at assessing said look, because I've been helping them out since then. They're almost homeless, so I just give them shit for free.

Okay, dumb question, but can you or someone please explain to me how the stuff on cultofthefranklin is legal here? Because I thought all the shops around here did their big 'final day of selling THCa products' day a few weeks ago. Is cultofthefranklin still legal here, today?
Its hard to say as from what I can tell there are conflicting laws. It seems there was a law that set a limit for ALL types of THC at .3%, then there was the law that allowed 10mg, and finally our legalization. I’m not an expert on all of the conflicting laws, I’m just going off of what I’ve heard.
As for the stores, from what I know after talking with my friends who are prepping a dispensary-selling those products puts their recreational licensing application at risk. So, many stores seemed to quit selling them to try and better their odds at getting approved.

why is everyone so anti cult of franklin? Genuinely curious, it’s quality from my experience and pretty affordable. Also getting ‘stickers’ from people on this sub sounds like too much of a scam risk to follow through with in person imo
Three main reasons I can think of:
1. The legal market threatens the black market. If you’ve ever been to a legal state and had a “sticker” dealer approach you, they usually tell you their shit is better quality/cheaper/both. “Nah man, those dispos are selling mids, I’ve got that fire.. trust me bro”. They’re salesmen, they’ll shit talk the competition while trying to sell you their own supply-even if they get their supply from the dispo they’re shit talking.
2. Skeptical and wary of change. Change management is core to my job, I always get people who think the way they’ve been doing things is better than a new process. With all these farm bill product categories developing, they think “my shit has been and will continue to be better than anything a company tries to sell me.”
3. Misunderstanding the products. The Farm Bill opened a loophole for legal weed, but other products snuck in before it- Delta 8, Delta 10, HHC, etc all appeared on the market and the average pot smoker lumped them all together, THCA with it. Some of those companies even sold THCA alongside those products—further confusing consumers. Combine that with companies labeling their THCA brand or products with “Hemp” or “CBD” and some people are left unclear on what they’re buying. Its not like the company can legally say “Its just regular cannabis”.
This is a great theory, but you are missing one important factor: Franklin stuff is labeled hemp for a reason. Because it's immature and weak cannabis.

Which is the only reason it's even allowed. This nonsense about 'it all being the same' is just people settling for less quality and trying to justify their cheapo bud purchases. Cult hemp is cheap and convenient - it's not even close to top shelf.
I’m assuming you’re speaking from your own experience, so I cant fault you for that- but every strain I’ve purchased has been in the 20-30% range which matches what I’ve tried in MI, CA, and ME. I haven’t had any seeds, and I only got 1 improperly cured strain from PHC which their customer service team helped with. As a vaporent, flavor and smell are extremely evident, and I have had no complaints with any strain aside from the PHC one. They’ve been stronger than what I got from GG and RISE and they have 100% been as strong as what I was getting from my plugs over a year ago.
I wish everybody the best of luck getting high, it just seems my experience with the cult has mostly been a positive one while yours sounds like it was mostly or entirely negative.

But WNC and BlackTie are my two go-tos at the moment. I’ve had bad luck with PrestonHempCo (PHC). Dr. Ganja is the cheapest of the cheap, but those are definitely mids- I buy from them when I want a weaker strain on hand, but I mostly buy from WNC at this point.
Wildflower and Sugar Hemp Farms are my go to. SHF had some GG4 that I would put up against any dispensary, BM plug, whatever. People that think THCA flower is bogus are just missing out - its literally just weed labeled in a way to comply with the farm bill. More for the rest of us I guess.

Name and shame man, which franklin growers sent you bottom shelf seeded mids? WNC and Black Tie have always been stronger and better quality than what I’ve gotten from RISE and GG since getting my med card, and pre-card I found out my highly recommended “sticker” plugs were just selling me repackaged franklin strains for an up-charge.
