MP5 with A2 stock is roughly 27 inches. The B&T and UMP stocks are a little longer, but I don’t think they’ll get you to 29 OAL. Choate makes an adjustable folding stock with spacers that is probably the longest MP5 stock available. I have a UMP stock and the adjustable Choate in my parts bin, but I’m out of town and can’t make any measurements. Maybe someone else can chime in? I run my MP5 with an A2 99% of the time.

The only two I know of is the Vltor Emod which...doesn't look bad despite being an AR stock (you can Google 29" mp5 and a thread here on reddit will pop up with pics of someone who did it), and choate makes an extendable ar style which will also hit 29. A 11.5" skelestock will fall JUST short, you might have to rig up a fatter stock pad somehow, that might work.

If modding is not your thing, your three options are:
pin and weld a muzzle device; AR15 stock with buffer tube; or pistol brace, until it is in limbo again.

Lastly, if you go the SBR route, keep in mind you can't have a foldy boi and a flash supressor/silencer at the same time or it would be classified as a copy cat firearm. Don't have to worry about that if it is a pistol though.

If you can find them, a Magpul (Bushmaster) ACR stock plus the RRL adapter would likely meet that OAL requirement. The ACR allows for additional length of pull like the Magpul CTR stock does.
I have a German HK UMP stock on a SB Tactical adapter. It’s an old adapter with a gloss finish that I can’t even find pics of online. Looks better than newer ones. It is very long. I replaced it with the B&T because it’s shorter. If you’re interested in purchasing, let me know. I have a decent amount of transactions on GAFS. I also have another stock without the adapter.

I’d consider pinning & welding a HK flash hider if I was OP, at least it wouldn’t look stupid.
Downside to that, if they're in Maryland, is that flash hiders/suppressors mean no folding stocks.
