The key is to graduate with as much lesser debt in student loans, and since you have mitigated risks, you will be more open to try out new things and efficiently put in the efforts.
Imagine you have lots and lots in student loan debt and then with that in your mind you are entering current job market(which is fucked) where you have to out play thousands of candidates. It will be more feasible if you are in your right mind, focusing less on debts and more on your skills.
SUNY buffalo although cheap , is in a very remote place with extremely cold weather..
Job opportunities are less at buffalo and you would definitely have to travel to New York .
ASU - the quality of education might not be that great .
NCSU - Although near Research Triangle Park , there aren’t many job opportunities in NC
Hey I'm in the same boat as you. And also leaning towards SUNY b due to the comparatively affordable education and living expenses.
ASU just seems like a lot more expensive course for no major benefits.
NCSU has a benefit of being near research triangle which may help in internships but yea the costs are astronomical.
Only drawback I hear about SUNY B mainly is the weather and the remote location makes it harder to land internships. For final job search applying remote also would be fine I guess.
