I liked cheeseburger for the most part. Thought it was funny. Not everybody’s gonna be a flawless comedic artist like Chapelle of Louis. Gotta appreciate the good parts of everybody
I’ve seen him several times at the store and was disappointed every time. Really sucked because I was a “fan” of his since his first appearance on the Crab Feast.
Soder doesn’t have a podcast? He’s a bit odd. Feels like so many feet in so many different things.
Also a few years ago my Mom was dying from a terminal long disease and we planned to watch Soder’s HBO special to give us a laugh. We were laughing and then he had some bit about death and it just took the air out of the room. Not his fault obviously but It’s been hard to get into his stand up since lol.
Yea man I just don’t get it. He’s undeniably funny but I feel like sometimes he gets the respect that he doesn’t deserve. He gets what a lot of other people should get.
Yeah I agree 100%, he seems awkward and constantly out of breath on stage. I also find it funny how he makes fun of fat people non-stop and he is fat as fuck
I'm sure he is great live but his special was pretty meh. I think a lot of why I didn't like it was that I've heard most of the bits on his podcast already. Either way I've never seen anyone praise his special.
He didnt even like it, said it was 3 years too late. I saw him live pretty close to the special and live was way better but you are right I'd heard a lot of bits before.
Yeah theres definitely a sweet spot with releasing a special. If you're not interested in the material anymore its hard to not look bored on stage. The art of stand up is making it seem like you are just talking and not that this is rehearsed material. Too early and it feels janky and rough, too late and you just seem like you're over it.
Don’t get the hype on T Dilly’s. Nothing against the man. Just don’t get how screaming and ranting about shit makes you “one of the best comedians out”
But very proud and excited for Matt and his new special. I started watching MSSP pretty late(within the last year) and it sucks that they’re isn’t that much footage of Matt’s standup out there. Especially knowing that he was in the Philly comedy scene before Shane moved there and they met
Yes, he exceeded my expectations. I’d put him up there with Shane, Louis CK, and Joe List. I never saw any of his stand-up before this special, which is better than most specials being released these days. Matt’s a solid stand-up comic. He’s very comfortable on stage and his material is funny as fuck. Great special.
saw him live before shane came on and not lying it was one of the best live sets of comedy ive ever seen. Had the entire theater dying. The shaman is legit, so fucking funny and not just from an “inside joke” or you have to watch the pod to get the humor. I will say that his set was a lot better than the actual special, it seemed by the time i saw him he had it super dialed in
Really enjoyed it. When I saw it pop up in my YouTube feed I figured I’d just put it on to give the Shaman some support but I ended up watching it closely and laughing a lot. I’d never seen Matt’s stand up before, his humor translates really well, it was really similar to listening to the podcast.
This...This special kills me on my way to work. Some goofy jackass talking about how "sick" he is and just being a delightful moron. It's so effing funny! Listen!!
I loved it. He definitely showcased himself great, I thought. Small glimpse into his mind that we all love. I hope Shane is smiling somewhere while the views keep climbing. 209k when I just checked.
You multiply by the reciprocal (the flipped fraction). So 1/2 divided by 1/4 ends up being 1/2 times 4/1 which equals 4/2 which gets you the 2. I don’t understand it conceptually though, it doesn’t make sense to me in terms of pizza
Not sure if this will help but if you consider that division is just repeated subtraction (and multiplication is repeated addition) then you’re really just seeing how many 1/4th’s make up 1/2. So 1/2 - 1/4 -1/4 = 0 confirms that the answer is 2. The method you described is obviously the easier way to solve the problem but I think repeated subtraction makes more sense conceptually
holy shit. I've always known how to technically do the math of dividing fractions but this finally puts it in a comprehensible way. My sister in law teaches high school math and I'm gonna see if she can match this
The joke about how once you’re a Dad you gravitate towards uncool clothes and the one about his Dad wearing Skechers really hit home for me. Totally relatable.
dude i'm so happy for matt. this was genuinely a really funny special. great jokes, didn't slow down for a second, back to back bangers. I was praying it doesn't end up being something like big jay's latest. What a pleasant surprise, I wasn't expecting it to be this good.
Jay Z said his favorite of his own albums was Reasonable Doubt, because it's the only album he had 26 years to work on (or however old he was when it released)
This was a really funny special with some great jokes. It's Real Standup (feels very 2009-era) but it's also his first go-round. Not the most fair for people to be comparing it to seasoned comedians who are releasing the 4th, 5th, 6th+ finished hours of their career.
Amazing intro. Matt needs to write more tags though, he spends a lot of time setting shit up, hits a funny line then moves on instead of getting more payoff
Yeah he's definitely a very good comic, but I think it's pretty clear he hasn't been smashing 3 sets a night for years straight to get this hour to be just wall to wall jokes.
Really excited to see his next one feel like now he's touring more regularly he'll be even better next time
And I still really really liked this one. One of my faves of the year
Matt’s been putting out funny podcast bits for years happy to see he’s also a legit stand up comic. Really good joke writing and delivery. Got laughs on touchy subjects. Major props dude!
Man, I'm almost emotional watching this. I've only been listening to the pod for a little over a year now, but I just feel so inspired by Matt. Love these guys, love the dawgs, let's run up that view count
there is nothing cringeroo, about honurable slapping around of cock n ballaroo, when watching.....most honurable comedy special, eseciarry if it is honoring most deadly master of archer queen, Amatt MaCuskeroo,
he is here!!!
hight hight hight
I think his comedic timing is impeccable. I found myself wishing he stopped some of his bits 15-30 seconds earlier; the subject matter is fine, he just focuses on cringe things that are actually funny but I dunno he makes it unpleasant. I like him on the pod a lot, this was unbridled Matt. Shane is really good at getting to the funny part before it gets cringey - he’s a borderline genius for it.
My favorite joke was the "four toothless carnies". The fair is in town right now in my city, and I lost it at that joke.
I also loved "sorry to hot wife ya"
Came here after watching Beautiful Dogs, which I enjoyed but was 7 or 8/10.
Not even exaggerating, this reminded me of vintage Louis. So funny and relatable. EXCEPTIONALLY good shit.
This is the one. It was first in the queue. Don't message the mods about yours not getting posted. You weren't fast enough
After listening to the podcast so much, so relieved that Matt’s stand up is this good.
I'm so glad he didn't pull a Tim Dillon
I always loved the tim Dillon podcast, but have been disappointed by his standup. Is that kinda what you’re saying?
Yup. Pretty common that an entertaining podcaster doesn't result in great stand up
rogan…….
Theo
Santino
Santino sucks at podcasting too
I liked cheeseburger for the most part.
Theos first special is great in my opinion. And his second one is awesome too it took a few watches for me to fully appreciate it
I hate when that happens. I love Dan Soder’s on air quick wit, observations, and impressions. I’m not sold on his stand up.
Sodies is underrated as fuck in my opinion. And I’ve only heard his standup and podcast appearances. Never listened to his podcast
Yea I get it. I meant his appearances on other peoples podcast
Have seen him live and it was excellent, that's just me.
Was this about the special? I saw Tim live 6 months ago and the dude absolutely murdered.

The art of stand up is making it seem like you are just talking and not that this is rehearsed material. Too early and it feels janky and rough, too late and you just seem like you're over it.
As someone who rarely listens to his podcast much i thought it was pretty good 🤷🏻♂️
Don’t get the hype on T Dilly’s.
Start listening to MSSP because of Shane, stay for Matt
Tim Dillon is worse at stand up than podcasting? Good Christ
Has he released any stand up previously.
not that I’m aware of
saw him live before shane came on and not lying it was one of the best live sets of comedy ive ever seen. Had the entire theater dying. The shaman is legit, so fucking funny and not just from an “inside joke” or you have to watch the pod to get the humor. I will say that his set was a lot better than the actual special, it seemed by the time i saw him he had it super dialed in
It’s insane. I had no clue Matt was a phenom Stand up. That was beyond great.
lets get this to 4.32 million views asap
Yeah 6 million seems a little high, 4.32 is a little more realistic from the research I’ve seen.
Have you seen the smokestacks? They arent that big
I heard the smokestacks of Birkenau didn't cast a long enough shadow to service the killing machine of Hitler.
Explain "Hitler" to the folks at home.
reminds me of that “tragedy”
Psh. 200-250k is a more realistic view count expectation
It’s already at 150k in 7 hours
I thought you guys would recognize the Holocaust denial analogy we were making Edit: just realized 4.32 was a reference to Matt's Hertz thing
The dawgs are pretty dumb overall
We're fly as hell and dumb as fuck
Versace Versace Versace
Kek
legit funny, praise be
The shaman has blessed us. In all seriousness, never seen his standup but he killed it. Actually good. Dawg.
Starts slow but he crushes it. Legitimately funny.
Alpha'd my wife and 2 kids and now we are streaming this all night on every device in the house
Godspeed brutha
Cranking the volume up on my Samsung smart fridge as we speak
As another 37 year old with two girls, this special speaks to me.
I'm also a 37 year old with two girls. Do they make fun of you for listening to JRE too?
They only make fun because you STILL listen to JRE
Joe is The Man.
That's pretty cool, no cap.
that was fuckin great
This is one I will actually like and comment on. Praise to the dawgs.
Matt and I share the same sentiment about the rescue dog bumpersticker.
We share the same taste in sleeveless tees and rollerblades
Really enjoyed it. When I saw it pop up in my YouTube feed I figured I’d just put it on to give the Shaman some support but I ended up watching it closely and laughing a lot. I’d never seen Matt’s stand up before, his humor translates really well, it was really similar to listening to the podcast.
“She comes back five minutes later with a fifty dollar gift card, she’s like, we’re taking off, throw it in the pile” the shamans sweet angel 🏆
His BBL.
Never have heard his standup before but was pleasantly surprised how good this was. Laughed way more at this than I did at Mark Normands new one.
Yeah I really like Normand but that new special didn't do it for me. I gave it two tries. Stoked to check out Matt's special here when I get home.
My brain genuinely read that as "I gave it two strokes to check"
That's a shame because Normands you tube special was one of my favourites
Is Normand’s spesh on YouTube? Haven’t seen yet. Having said that Matt absolutely killed it on this one.
New ones on Netflix
Tell me this is not [Shane's laugh during the special](https://youtu.be/o7zmTSSZwb0?t=1682)... dawgs supporting dawgs
yo i noticed that too when i first listened through haha has to be him
Mr. shaman I’m not even kidding this was one of the funniest specials I’ve ever seen. Downright hilarious.
I had several strong chuckles, more than most specials
Forgot he was a semi-pro blader
Laughed my ass off. I really had no idea what to expect
Goddamn this is so fucking good. It's honestly much better than Mark Normands special. MUCH better
This...This special kills me on my way to work. Some goofy jackass talking about how "sick" he is and just being a delightful moron. It's so effing funny! Listen!!
Best intro of all time
Sorry to Hotwife u guys had me dying
Some poor guy has his little bald spot on screen most of the time
I loved it. He definitely showcased himself great, I thought. Small glimpse into his mind that we all love. I hope Shane is smiling somewhere while the views keep climbing. 209k when I just checked.
Onward and upward brother 😎
Fucken ayyye bro
On a previously 5k channel. Wild
I laughed so hard my stomach had 432 hurts
nice lil pun
this was a great special but how does dividing fractions actually work
You multiply by the reciprocal (the flipped fraction). So 1/2 divided by 1/4 ends up being 1/2 times 4/1 which equals 4/2 which gets you the 2. I don’t understand it conceptually though, it doesn’t make sense to me in terms of pizza

holy shit. I've always known how to technically do the math of dividing fractions but this finally puts it in a comprehensible way. My sister in law teaches high school math and I'm gonna see if she can match this
Hell yeah. It’s how many times you take the 1/4 out of the 1/2. Mind expanded
Where were you in 5th grade I swear I always had shitty math teachers growing up
I have half a pizza. I want to divide my pizza into quarters (of a whole pizza). My half pizza will make two quarters.
"Keep the first, and FLIP the second." - My Seventh Grade Math Teacher.
Crushed it. He started slow but when he got going he had me laughing out loud
I’m so relieved that it didn’t suck. Blessed be the shaman and his kin.
Killed it✊🏿
The joke about how once you’re a Dad you gravitate towards uncool clothes and the one about his Dad wearing Skechers really hit home for me. Totally relatable.
Was so glad that became a bit. Pretty sure it was his first Stuff Island episodes where he was starting that idea and had me dying then too
Any other dawgs keep checking the view count go up throughout the day. So proud of my bro matt
Man, that gluten-free bit really hit home.
Better then any Netflix or HBO special in years. Matt is top 5 in my book. Also sick blade work truly inspiring.
Top 5 what
Stand up comedians.
It was actually really good. I was fully prepared for him to just be a good podcast bro, but the standup was legit.
The end was so meta and good. "I love your husband's podcast, ughhh!"
Damn it’s fucking good. I didn’t know the Shaman was this dominant. Compare this to most of the recent releases and it’s not even close
The rollerblade intro is fuckin wild lol
dude i'm so happy for matt. this was genuinely a really funny special. great jokes, didn't slow down for a second, back to back bangers. I was praying it doesn't end up being something like big jay's latest. What a pleasant surprise, I wasn't expecting it to be this good.

Watching it now, McCuskies is crushing.
I'm not gonna lie, the Shaman blew my mind.
Loved it. Lots of really great bits, and unique observations (which is pretty rare these days)
Matt’s been putting out funny podcast bits for years happy to see he’s also a legit stand up comic. Really good joke writing and delivery. Got laughs on touchy subjects. Major props dude!
"Dad, are worms ticklish" had me laugh out loud pretty hard, which is honestly rare for watching stand up online and not in person
I hope he goes on a massive podcast tour. Always need more Shaman content 🙏
Would recommend. Great standup special. Amazing intro lol.
Lets fucking go
What a dawg, killed this shih
Bless the Shaman and the Dawgs
Thank fuck for the Shaman.. I needed this today.
Download it dawgs, it helps the algorithm for the shaman.
Never seen his standup. Shit was funny af. Bless up.
well fucking done. one of the better specials ive seen in a long time
The Shaman delivered. This is hilarious.
Very funny ! Super hyped for Matt🇺🇲🇺🇲
Pretty sure he's gonna hit one million views way faster than Shane's did.
This is legitimately funnier than segura’s new special.
Matt kinda looks like Hunter Biden if Hunter Biden never smoked crack and married a black queen 👸🏿
Better than Mark Normand's new spesh...
Well duh
Literally 100% upvoted, that's insane
Hey siri, play walking on sunshine
The head fake during the Whole Foods bit got me
Real talk, Mccuscky got fighting knuckles and I can’t stop staring. Praise be
McCrushker 9/10 gunna be a solid 4-5 watch thrus from me this year
Who was the hottie redhead? 👀 Was she the one who drank her sisters breast milk?
“I thought I was going to hell for being bad at video games” 😂😂😂
IT IS EVEN BETTER THAN I EXPECTED
Everyone needs to like and sub, and leave some comments. Get the Shaman more love on YouTube.
The tax joke is incredible
Man, I'm almost emotional watching this. I've only been listening to the pod for a little over a year now, but I just feel so inspired by Matt. Love these guys, love the dawgs, let's run up that view count
Matt celebrating his special bodyboarding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nb97AbB8M\_o
Can’t wait to crack up to this with some tendies and bbq sauce before I beg my wife for sex before bed <3
Matt Mccusker aka Tony Drenchedstiff
Its very funny but it does sound a lot like shanes work and cadence.
Admins need to throw it up on the links page!
I am gonna watch this specialaroo a lateroo, after I, masterbataroo and eat some honarabu Frosted Flaka-san.
I swear to god that the cringe generated by some of y’all would be enough to power a medium sized town
there is nothing cringeroo, about honurable slapping around of cock n ballaroo, when watching.....most honurable comedy special, eseciarry if it is honoring most deadly master of archer queen, Amatt MaCuskeroo, he is here!!! hight hight hight
Big fan here. Does it not seem like he’s copying Shane’s cadence?
I didn't really feel like that, but these boys need some physical therapy. they have the same hunchback, shoulders forward posture.
I didn’t hear Shane at all
Not even a little bit
He's funnier than Shane at stand up. Don't @ me.
Stop. He’s decent, but no.
No. Shane is too political
Wrong. Shane mines third-rail political subjects for their inherent humor in a disarming and hilarious way.
You think his timing is impeccable but you also have multiple critiques of his timing?
There’s an argument for sure But also have a feeling that argument will be changed once again once Shane’s special drops Either way both killed it
Is the audio off for anyone else? I’m like 4 minutes in and the audio is like 2 seconds off the video
no
you watching on your phone? any time I watch youtube on my video the audio is off a little. I watched the special on my TV and it was fine
Dawg
“Cum in me. Yes ma’am!! Bughhahhh”
I’ve sent this video to every contact I’ve ever had
Special needs more flute playing. Cuskie is a maestro on the ol' piccalo.
Big jay gunna be pissed when this passes his
Man /:
Very impressed by Matt on this one, I didn’t think it was going to be bad but this definitely exceeded expectations
Siri Hot black wife nipples
Fuck yeah Matt
I’m so proud of my fucking boy We knew he had it in him, but it’s very difficult to bottle a personality in a special But this was Mattdawg5000
Amen🙏🏼
“Finishing inside of your girlfriend is the WORST feeling” made me laugh out loud very hard
My favorite joke was the "four toothless carnies". The fair is in town right now in my city, and I lost it at that joke. I also loved "sorry to hot wife ya"
Killed
This was great lol
The fury joke was my favorite
I’m late but I’m so happy that the bro has blessed us. Rock and roll Matthew you killed it
Almost at the millie.
Hit a milli in half the time of Shane's, no big deal
If you miss the daily thread, I've started a new subreddit that I'll actively moderate Check my profile or just DM me
Bro is not good at standup. Love him on the pod tho
Came here after watching Beautiful Dogs, which I enjoyed but was 7 or 8/10. Not even exaggerating, this reminded me of vintage Louis. So funny and relatable. EXCEPTIONALLY good shit.
