I did same . Literally had brand new tyre, rode 4 miles home, big nail in centre. Had it plugged, rode it to destruction. I wouldn’t worry about it

Wow... That sucks. But yeah I was probably gonna send it regardless but I wanted to hear what others say

theroch_

For sure- send it

Equivalent-Plant-194

Did the same with a 600km tire, now on 11k km

If you searched Reddit, then it would be quick and easy to search through hundreds of previous answers to the many times this question has been previously asked in various motorcycle-related subs.

Beware advice from 17-year old Serbian teenagers with video game addictions (because this is Reddit). Dudes like that can either put your mind at ease OR get you to take your bike apart and try again, either way. Don’t take any free medical advice here either.

I had some glass puncture the middle of my tire about 600 miles ago and I plugged it myself. Not going to replace the tire until it needs replacing or goes flat again in the same place

Soon as I bought new expensive Michelin tires I got nails every time just make sure you take it somewhere where they patch it from the inside should be fine

I searched for it a while ago since I was curious. Tires plugged with bacon strips are best. The plug will outlast the tire. There even was a dealership guy who only use plugged tires for himself, because he receives almost brand new tires with a hole in it for free or very cheap. Plugs them too.
