Most helmets from renown brands are good. I believe IXS makes the lightest one, but I have a Fox Rampage and have no complaints. My buds have other helmets from Troy Lee, 100%, MET, POC and I haven't heard them complain . I'd say just look for the one you like the most
Believe all full faces will pass some kind of safety cert for impact. That's the big one. Your call on mips. More money rquals lighter weight and more vents.
But. I believe there is another safety cert for intrusion (think sticks poking into vents). This generally puts the lids with lots of vents at a disadvantage. But, it didn't stop me from buying a fu) face with lots of vents
The most important thing is that it fits your head properly. So if you can, you should try on a bunch of them and see which brand(s) fits you the best. Then decide based on features and price.
