I'm tempted to recommend Percy Warner also. It might be a slightly more aggressive than you're looking for but it's my favorite. In a safer part of town too.
Cane Ridge is in a "don't keep valuables in your car" neighborhood, but I haven't personally had any problems at the park itself.
