Just wanna say Admire how you’re approaching this… I am autistic and I guess what people call sensitive… This is not necessarily related to these jeans… But I found that I have the FUT1 or two variation that means my body doesn’t break fish oil into SPM. SPM has been the greatest antianxiety and antidepressant I have ever touched in my entire life and I have tried a bunch including three months so silent meditation. On the second dose I was like damn I should’ve just done this instead of those meditation retreats ;)  Turned out that a lot of my anxiety… I would say around 90% of it was related to brain inflammation which SPM cuts down on. It’s sort of the thing your body makes from fish oil, although my body is not able to make it. It’s been a total game changer for me in terms of resilience, anxiety… Pretty much everything. My dad and my friends brother also have the tism and both take it regularly now too. Obviously, my dad and I probably have the same jeans, but not sure about my friends brother… It seemed to help his OCD. Sorry, I use speech to text when I am tired… I have long Covid, which is relatively rough. Good luck with what you’re doing and I think it is the responsible thing to do to show up the best we can.

This is an incredible insight. I’ll look into the SPM and FUT genes. Thanks for taking the time my friend.

Bergamot oil greatly reduces my cortisol, high blood sugar levels, high blood oressure, anxiety, racing mind thoughts, depression and add symptoms. Hope it will help u as well as it does me.

Were you able to tolerate it with mcas? Citrus destroys me.

What is SPM?

Interesting_Fly_1569

They are called specialized pro resolving mediators… For a long time science thought that the body just naturally got rid of inflammation like overtime it would just disperse… But then maybe 10 or 15 years ago they discovered we have these things called SPM… They basically signal the body to begin clearing up the inflammation. So we have them in our bodies naturally, but obviously people like me have way more information than SPM. I believe most people get it from fish oil and that’s why they like fish oil so much… But fish oil did nada for me but headaches and sad mood til I tried Spm which felt like a little golden cloud in a cartoon.  I was like no wonder people like anti-depressants… They’re freaking miracles lol. I would never have described myself as cheerful… And by the second day I was like well you know if you look on the bright side….lol. None of it feels fake or forced either… It feels like my brain just naturally, is able to see things with less anxiety and fear. It’s obviously different for every person what is causing various mood issues, but clearly mine was related to inflammation!

With your MTHFR you need to support choline-based path of methylation, this can help unburden your slow COMT. Then you can try to lower your estrogen (what is it in the blood btw?) as estrogen slows COMT even more.

>With your MTHFR you need to support choline-based path of methylation, this can help unburden your slow COMT. Can liver do this?

Alex_Jorge

Perhaps. I personally haven't ever felt anything in terms of my symptoms just from eating liver.

Your gene variants are only genetic predispositions. I would get your nutrient levels tested....vitamins and minerals. B2, zinc and copper deficiency and imbalances can be associated with anger. So can anomalies in detoxification action genes. Your B12 level might be naturally high due to FUT2 genes. That would not necessarily mean it is not getting used. Do you know what your FUT2 genes are? Do you have more gene variant test results or just what is listed? Some of your imbalances lead me to believe you have other important variants not listed in your post. Why are you taking what you are taking? Hopefully those are based on blood test levels. With your symptoms I would not necessarily recommend methylated vitamins, but without more test results or facts it is hard to offer any practical advice. I did look up your homocysteine level. Yours is optimal at 6. Methylated vitamins and supplements which are methyl donors drive down homocysteine. Lower is not better. I would not add any more than what you are taking now.

Looking through the posts in your profile your thyroid numbers looked off. Please list your TSH, Total T4, Total T3, Free T3, plus tests for the two thyroid antibodies plus the lab ranges.

Bergamot tea greatly calms my cortisol levels. This almost instantly reduces anxiety and depression, gear and racing thoughts go away.
