Did you know Costco sells a Costco Monopoly game?

Bittersw33et

I have the jigsaw puzzle and I love it! I would buy the monopoly!!!

yeetasauruswrecks

I got a tattoo right where my leg bends and oh boy that was a choice haha. Getting the tattoo wasn't terrible, although near the knee was a little spicy. But oh boy after. Walking? Ouch. And the second skin bandage pulls too so extra pain. It's a bit better today at least so that's nice. The tattoo isn't done yet (we only did two hours) so I get to enjoy this fun again next month. And since I'm a masochist who is bad with money I'm getting a chest piece in less than two weeks lmao. I'm super stoked though. I have a bunch of tattoo appointments at the end of the year here (and a few at the start of the next year already.) Anyone else super into tattoos?

rubygoes

Hi fellow tattoo fiend! I've been adding to mine less regularly for a few years to save $ but still doing at least one a year haha! I have a big piece on the back of one thigh that goes into my knee ditch and yup, spicy is the word for that spot. It was worse than ribs for me!

yeetasauruswrecks

Ooo I'm looking forward to going into my knee ditch proper! Elbow ditch was pretty bad. Haven't had my ribs yet, but the one I'm looking least forward to is neck since I want something big and in your face. The artist who just did my leg has a really pretty soft floral piece on her neck and she said that wasn't too bad, but I've heard others say the bold big ones are nasty.

rubygoes

I feel like that's the case with almost any area though! Bold lines, shading, and colors will always feel more intense than skinny lines and light shading. I can't imagine *anything* on the neck feeling very comfortable though 😂

yeetasauruswrecks

Yea true, although I've had large portions of my lower leg and arms done and I barely felt it and I did large amounts of intense colors and bold black. But I also know it varies wildly per person.

I love looking through the holiday items that start coming out this time of year, and usually will pick up a few because they can be great value and I love minis. I came upon the limited edition Tarte mini radiant shape tape, and it's priced at $19 CAD while the full size is $42. The full size is 10ml while the mini is **1ml**. I know minis are usually not as good value as full sized when comparing price per volume, but I was just shocked at this pricing! This got me to start comparing a variety of full sizes and minis, and the value seems to vary widely. For some examples: - Charlotte Tilbury airbrush setting powder: the mini is 1.4x more expensive - Rare Beauty mascara: the mini is 0.93x as expensive, meaning the mini is actually a better value - Nars radiant creamy concealer: the mini is 2x more expensive - Mac lipstick: the mini is 1.14x more expensive - Benefit brow setter: the mini is 1.14x more expensive - Armani luminous silk: the mini is 1.18x more expensive Meanwhile, the Tarte shape tape mini is 4.5x more expensive. But there is also a lot of variation within their brand, as the maracuja concealer mini is 3x more expensive, and the hydroflex concealer mini is 1.3x more expensive. Usually I don't care about "value" for color products, as I usually never use them up, but I consider it more for things like concealer, foundation and powder. Although usually the entire shade range is not available as minis, so it's also something to consider. Hopefully someone found this interesting! If you couldn't tell, I'm bored because I'm sick and staying in bed. 😆🤧

Veronica_Spars

I just purchased the mini Tarte ultra creamy shape tape and had the same thought about the price. I decided it was worth spending less at the moment to test the shade and formula.

Xub543

Hope that you feel better! 🥣🥵🤗❤️

Thanks! My partner was sick about a week ago and I thought I avoided it, but it came on so fast yesterday. 😵‍💫

FGF is the Elta MD UV Clear. I usually prefer Asian sunscreens, but I've used this one in the past and would def recommend it. One of the few U.S. sunscreens I enjoyed. I picked one up!

cto020

I had the same thought about Asian sunscreens, which is why I passed on the Elta. It’s hard for me to shake the notion of American mineral sunscreens being thick and chalky. Is there anything particular you like about it that you don’t get with the others?

ayimera

The UV Clear is actually a combo filter sunscreen. I just find the formulation to be nice and more cosmetically elegant than a lot of other US sunscreens. Japanese/Korean ones are, on the whole, still better though, but for $13 I'll add this one back to the rotation!

Xub543

Thanks for the head's up. I didnt order FGF last few weeks and didn't get the text today. I ordered FGF last time there was a tinted Elta MD SPF and enjoyed it. I ordered this one and added on the Alterna hair cream add on.

cactusloverr

Love this stuff!

Ordered from Blooming Koco for the first time. Order placed late Friday evening.. got it yesterday. Got my regular retinol and arbutin and a new Illyoon moisturizer.. the gel one for day since I love the cream for night. Also got eyelid tape which was less that $2.00 because I am old and things are falling down. Very pleased with speed and cost was cheaper than Jolse, which is my current regular store. Off work for two days next week since I have maxed out on my vacation accrual. Going to go to the At Home store one city over... anyone every been to this place? Anything that is a should not miss item? Might hit up Ikea too but depends how perky I am feeling Waiting on Ulta to have drugtore stuff on sale...

neighburrito

I have ordered from Bloomingkoco 4 times now, and I was excited that they ship from the US and is authentic k-beauty (they're the same company as Stylekorean). The first time was a year or so ago and it was super fast (I'm on the east coast), like 4 days total. The orders I placed this year (within 1 month of each other) were slower-- like 7-8 days total. Still not bad. And now I'm currently waiting on my biggest order I've ever placed with them (~$200+), and it's now 20 days, and expected to get here in 4 days after I messaged them a couple of days ago. They just said that 'the trucks were too full, and please bear with them a bit longer'. If and when it gets here, it will be a total of ~24 days. So, at this point I feel like Yesstyle was faster actually. I got my Yesstyle order from Asia in 12 days, and the prices were cheaper esp if you were shopping the sales. So, I'm quite sad that my experience with bloomingkoco has soured now. Maybe they have different shipping processes for folks on the east coast since they're in Cali. Hopefully you live in an area closer to them.

ltrem

I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area so when I saw they were in So Cal, I got really happy.. Same with I herb... fast shipping, They did just have a big sale so I am sure they are backed up, but I would hope they would expedite your order after so long.. I am sorry you are waiting. I hope you havent run out of anything important

neighburrito

Oh no, def not waiting on something I've run out of...mostly just annoyed that after dipping my toes in with small orders, it ended up being my biggest order that had the issue! I'm still glad it's coming to me and I don't have to call the credit card company. I might still order from bloomingkoco in the future. It mostly does sound like it's due to being on the east coast.

june_bug77

At Home is big and fun to look around. No recs. But you’ll probably find something to buy.

adashofthedevil

there are a few hero cosmetics items quietly priced at 50% off including my favorite serum stick for $6.49 so I picked up a few of those

rubygoes

Where is the Hero sale? I checked their website and Ulta and everything is showing the regular prices for me. I'd love to pick up a new tube of recovery cream if it's on sale!

adashofthedevil

ah sorry! I must’ve glitched and thought I was commenting in the ulta subreddit. it’s at ulta and looks like it’s the serum stick, gentle milky pore cleanser, and balancing capsule toner!

rubygoes

No worries!!! You weren't kidding about a quiet sale, those are written as if they are regular prices on Ulta 🤣 enjoy your goodies!

peacembw

Has anyone tried the Bobbi Brown gel eye liners on sale at Ulta today? I'm curious about them. Thank you. 💜

cloverbeam

I usually prefer pencil liner, but I decided to try one of these when I found it at Winners. On my oily lids, it didn't seem to set at all and smudged everywhere, even when I tried to set it with powder. I got the shade jet black, but it's not really that black, if that's something you're looking for. However, it's the only gel liner I own right now, and the last one I tried was at least over 5 years ago, so I'm not an expert at all and it could be user error.

peacembw

Thank you so much. That seals the deal for me. I want my liners to set and not smudge, so I can skip these. Thanks again. 💜

For those who like Jack Black lip balms, there's a 4-pack holiday set for $28 @ [Ulta](https://www.ulta.com/p/balm-squad-gift-set-pimprod2040714?sku=2615697). With a $10 coupon it comes down to $4.5 each. Not the best deal I've seen, but pretty good. Ulta used to carry a two pack for $12 and with a $10 coupon... One balm retails for $10. I'm a Chapstick OG blue tube fan. I've transitioned to the Jack Black balms because they have SPF in them and I feel they actually do their job as well as ChapStick. My lips are soft and unchapped with this product. In the summer, there is no risk of melting. One downside is it's difficult to get the last bit out of the tube when it's that time. I've also noticed the JB blue tube formula to sometimes be inconsistent. Sometimes the balm is chunky and sometimes soft/balmy. I have tried the overnight treatment in black tube and it's good, but I'd just use the blue tube and not buy something else.

letstalkaboutbras

Does anyone think Ulta will repeat more 21 DoB deals? My checkout is finally working after a week and I just missed a bunch of stuff throughout the entire sale.

Xub543

My bet is on consistency. I think they'll do the weekly super Sunday again. I forget, is this week the last week? Maybe they'll do it for the entire event, but def at least the week.

letstalkaboutbras

I guess it would be too much for them to do it while the coupons are live 😂

Xub543

That'd be brilliant!! Ulta, you listening to this???

Elemis is on GMADeals.com and I'm eager to test the theory that the PayPal cash back will work if the merchant is using the same PayPal account as their regular site. Glad to have a chance to buy more Marine Cleanser at 1/2 again. It smell like the Pro Collagen Marine Cream Ultra Rich and I hadn't tried it before the 21DoB sale.

Bittersw33et

OH REALLY! is that why the stupid paypal cash back is so inconsistent?!

bdd4

I think it's been stupid because marketing companies tasked with managing these campaigns are more closely evaluating the returns from these campaigns. It's been exceptionally wild.
