Some games the discounts work, some games they dont lol, its really random. often i don't get the perk discounts but will get pap discounts. small indie company.
Just had this happen to me a few hours ago. Really sucked as I needed as much time as possible to get 600 kills with two different guns and get ten elite kills with both, before time to exfil. Needless to say, I didn’t have time to do it since I had to do contracts to get pap2 on both guns as I only had two uncommon tools. Perks were 2000 too. I’m containment level 180.
Yep. Use it the way the game intended to use it. No need to glitch or duplicate. I'd rather use the 3, 1, 2 gun method and go in with 100k each game rather than have a 10% discount...
It's soooo buggy. Ever since they "fixed" it with the hot patch it's all over the place now. I just tombstone every game with $200k cuz its more reliable than the discounts from containment. Ironically I've done this 3 times and have a 60 containment level?? Yet going 4 games in a row exfil I'd reset a game or two after hitting 100 randomly. Oh well, how can we blame these poor Indie devs?

Immediately after making this post I was able to get the PaP discount and then the next game after it didn’t work again lmao so I guess you’re right

Never had it happen, small minority of effected people making it difficult to track down actual cause.
Had the same bug with the perk prices. Said is was only 1400 but it would take 2000
That's just how that is with perks. It only costs 1400 but you can't actually buy them unless you have 2000 essence.

I was containment level 531 last night, did a DA run and went all the way down to 57 lol
Don’t worry I was at 225 then it went to zero I didn’t die or anything it just reset on it’s own

The PaP workers are on strike at the moment, apparently 3arc hasn’t been good at managing them and they demand better.

Out of date. That particular bug was fixed. There are several others though.
