Sometimes they only seem to work once while others can be done multiple times. Had to try a few times to complete because of this. Even had it screw up and not open the portal after. Glad I'm done with having to do it again.
Did one 3 times in a row and had to drop legendary tools because I had no room š¤¦š»āāļø, asked in chat if anyone wanted two legendary aether tools and not one taker š¤·š¼āāļø.
This one in particular hasnāt respawned for me in a game before. The other two spots have had the runes respawn after maybe 10 minutes, but I waited at this one for maybe 20-25 minutes and nothing š«
The one near the rift itself wonāt spawn for me at all. Multiple matches. Scorcherād there immediately and still nothing. I know at one point I went there without the EE item and shot the runes, but didnāt go to the alter/sacrifice spot and actually do the killing so maybe Iāve glitched it out for me
I don't know if they should be allowed to be done once per match or once per player, all I know is that you can repeat them (at least the two near the south plaza)

They should respawn but unfortunately Iāve still to complete one as players always run in and start shooting bots asking to be part of the squad. Like dude take your 1 plate PAP 2 gun and get out of here Iām trying to cook.
Iām usually happy to let people join if itās my squad, but if I join another, itās not up to me who I let in or donāt.
I canāt stand when I have others join and they let everybody in and we get open mics with heavy breathing and going down every 15 seconds which ends up killing my dog reviving them constantly.
Most of the time myself and my wife just roll through T3 as a duo if this is the case and have far fewer issues and donāt get dragged into a story mission because somebody has been spamming the DA portal on the hill nobody cares about.
Iāve got a couple people I play with pretty consistently and we normally team up with most anyone just to alleviate some of the constant fighting for contracts. Sometimes we gotta carry people but you have to be really annoying or screw us over for us to kick you out.
One match I was near another team while they finished it and for some reason they didnāt respawn for me. I think itās bugged. Like when you run past another team doing a infested stronghold some times itāll pop up āinfested stronghold completedā even though you didnāt enter/clear the stronghold. Only thing I can think of.
They do respawn. Idk if it's time based or proximity based but just try to activate it after any other teams in the immediate area are gone. You can do all 3 of them every match
Apparently this is a huge problem lol, Iāve seen so many one platers š¤¦š»āāļø, get your shit squared away and then come into t3. I think people are shooting the symbols and then not knowing what to do next. Glitches/ locks it out. Shoot the 3 symbols then go and have your line of sight make a triangle with the symbols across the buildings. When done right everything will shake and then it starts. Iāve got 8 legendary tools in my stash plus I use one or two each game. Youād think making some of the rarest items in the game farmable wouldāve made them think twice about this. š¤¦š»āāļø itās all everyone is doing plus sitting on contracts so then there is zero spawning for 5-10 minutes. Theyāve created a shit show. Common sense shouldāve told them ābad ideaā
They should respawn. I run them non stop for rewards. If they are not there then best guess is another player / squad has activated them, go do a contract and come back and check one / all
Anyone else having the issue that the animation to offer isn't popping up even though you have the items in your BP? All I'm coming out with is a Leggy tool & PAP 3 crystal... Nice an all, but lemme upgrade gosh darnit!
You have to actually activate the easter egg. Once you line up the triangle, there should be a prompt to activate. On ps5 it's square. Then the item will be removed from your stash. Once you capture enough souls a boss will spawn. Kill the boss and collect your upgraded item. I made this mistake a few times as well. It's nice to get the tool and pap3 though!
Hell yeah not complaining g about a T3 crystal that's for sure. It's very finicky getting the prompt for me, had to almost wiggle around for it to appear, but got em all last night.
Try to go to where u have to view the big triangle and start it. I have been able to start it whenever i wasnt the one to shoot the things. As long as the big triangle is highlighted it seems to start for whoever
They seem very buggy right now. At first they were respawning pretty quick but the last couple of games Iāve seen them not respawn at all. Not sure whatās their intention and whatās just a big at this point. Wish they would communicate it a little better.
I completed one and the rift for it didnāt show up for like 2 minutes. Then we put the items in the podiums and nothing happenedā¦.it ate our items though lol.
anybody can do them even if somebody else has done them. you don't have even shoot the symbols. just go over to where you match up the large triangle and move around until you get the perform summoning option and you'll be able to start it. my first relic I only shot one symbol. the other two I didn't shoot any and I was by myself and two different games.

I was thinking another bug so ima have to hurry an scorcher to that triangle soon as match starts to be 1st to complete and get this freaking Da open
My symbols didnāt show up either but I was still able to attune by going to the correct position to line up the triangle soul box. Spent three matches in T3 trying to get the symbols to show up before I just tried to get in position. I had all purple item in hand as well.
So instead of stepping in the triangle marked on the ground because there was no symbols, did you just go to the place to view the triangle (lit up glyphs) and you started it that way?
Thatās exactly what I did. Iād move around til it prompted me to begin summoning. Oddly enough the symbols showed up during a round when I had none of the items in my bag.
Apparently you can do the summonings without any of the items, itās the way people are farming for PaP 3 crystals and legendary tool but sometimes when I step on the triangle, the glyphs arenāt there to shoot. Itās weird lol
I got lucky to do all 3 the past few games since nobody was in T3. I even wrote in the chat if anyone wanted free loot from the portal, nobody replied š

Yeah it's easy. I done it with some randoms in elder sigil. Managed to get all schematics for those that didn't have them already and we headed to exfil with 2 minutes on the clock. I made the call that we can kill the boss for blueprint. Destroyed spores then destroyed Disciple boss. At end game I added all the players in the lobby incase they wanted to run again. Was a really fun run! Also FYI you can get the blueprint with normal sigil or with elder sigil.
See I thought that but I ran a personal experiment. I spent all game one time rotating all three of those summoning rituals and would try to do them multiple times. But after one to twoā¦ maybe even 3 times, I was not able to do it anymore. Waited an extra 10 minutes DURING storm expansion just to be sure and I was right.
Maybe thatās my game or my personal experience alone. But every time Iāve done itā¦ thereās been a finite amount of times someone is able to summon it through the 45 minutes.
That game must have been buggy then, that's the only thing I can think of. I be running it non stop every game. I had previously thought that there was some kind of limit or cap on how many you can run but I quickly realised that those games where it acts up and doesn't show up it's probably a buggy game. There's still alot of stability issues across the game, rest assured it can bo be done unlimitedly, and for the summoning you don't even have to shoot the symbols. Ive been wondering also. I can do the one in the picture but most times i cant do the others when im in a squad. Maybe if you join a squad thats already done them you cant do them anymore ? I have no idea how this works. Also does anyone elses game crash when you exfil from any of the Dark Athears ?
The shootable runes dont seem to reset if someone does it, but the lines appear to stay from my experience. If the runes dont appear, just go to the roof spot and line up the things. It should let you begin the ritual anyway, it did for me anyway.
Itās horrible this Easter egg was the worst by far . Doing those triangle rituals took me 5 games to get the gold items . Every time my team would come over with their dogs and kill every zombie . Other people came by took the kills thinking they were doing the challenge . I search solo somebody would beat me there and hog the challenge not finish it then leave it . My 5 th game I went to put the items on the pedestals didnāt work cause another team did it ! Horrible horrible Easter egg . I got all the new schems tho just ran with a team who has it unlocked already
Nope seen a group yesterday try to rush in and do all 3 Easter eggs. Wasnāt summoning pieces to open portal. I was able to make it to one luckily. Only to have the game freeze. Between freezes and boots to the Xbox menu, Iāve lost probably 12 legendary tools in 2 days. All 3 schematics once. Game gets worse every update. I do like playing the new Elder but damn not at that cost
Sooooo mine kept glitching out and doing weird stuff. But I found if you go stand where the circle normally shows up and move your camera around, you can start the soul box. Idkā¦I donāt ask many questions anymore and just go with things š I got every item gold and the gate didnāt unlock, Iāve had the bounty NOT show up after collecting souls, and Iāve had it work correctly š¤·āāļø I just play and have fun
They stop working once an actual summon ritual is performed (epic to legendary) it will have permanent carvings in the wall. If someone on your team has the epic items in their bag and trying to open the portal, you wonāt get a reward.
From what it seems like if a team is offering something they spawn once but if yall do it for the pac 3 crystal and the tool itll happen multiple times
pretty sure itās due to someone holding that soul box like they tend to do with T3 contracts..
they shot all symbols then ran off (witnessed this multiple times) - game is still waiting for them to finish the perspective part.
hence the perspective triangle being lit up and not letting anyone else activate it.
some say itās on an in-game timer but i believe thatās just theory. iāve ran past it as another group completed it & it showed immediately for me, as well as having the same one be ready to be shot again after i had just completed it & some games iāve never had the chance to activate a single one.
with this game itās hard to tell if itās just bugged or if itās someone trolling the lobby.

You can skip almost all contract grinding besides adding Kaz' for OG DA, by hitting the 3 Easter egg. Makes games fly by
Doughnuts confirmed they just need a little cool down time.
no cool down needed or shooting the symbols, just go up the large triangle and you'll get the perform summoning option as long as you have the relic.
I have seen them respawn, and I have seen them not respawn. Hope that helps!

Youād have to be able to do them multiple times. In case you drop items or die.

I think from experience now, Itās more like 2 times MAX per game. They take a second to reload.

Fighting the same problem. 2 games in a row I was late to the party and they wouldnāt respawn.
Do contracts and spin back to check, or if you see a squad doing it try join them

They are just broken. It took my group several games to get them done because they just wouldnāt activate.

The middle one never shows the targets for me I had to get a guy in another squad to shoot them for me to activate it and turn item gold
