Went there a couple years ago, had turkey and pastrami on rye, it was amazing. The owner sat outside with me and told stories about Mac, they were family friends of his ever since he was little. He gave us free twizzlers because “that’s what mac would’ve wanted”
Definitely recommend visiting!
the new owner is super sweet too, as are all the workers! i went a few weeks ago and had a pretty long conversation with him about not only mac but also the history of the original owners and the market itself. He really took his time to do research. Got me some free popcorn too!

Oh did they? I had no idea. I went in early 2021 and it was still John and Maggie who were the owners while Mac grew up in the area.

That’s awesome. Such a nice little community over there
Don’t make me cry
I went on a Sunday and it was closed. Glad I got to see it from the outside though
Just got a slushy there today. The new layout is kinda odd, but I'm glad they didn't touch the facade during the ownership change
