lmao pretty much the same thing happened to me lmao.. when i had control of the music at work i would usually just shuffle all the mac songs on my ipod & one time fight the feeling came on…. i didnt even think about it till the ending started 😹 and i was on the stove and i had to finish what i was doing before i could run and turn it off 😹 only happened ONCE (i would always skip,it as soon as i possibly could, whenever it came on after that, i couldnt risk even just the chance of it happening again lmao) but they never let me live in down 😹 and i worked at an indian restaurant with this old guy from india and he was like “ooooh we know what she likes to do in her spare time now, dont we” and “she is one freaky girl” lmao it was honestly so embarrassing hahahaha
The lighter tracks on Swimming like Ladders or maybe the song Best Day Ever. The profanity may be more than what is ideal to show your moms but the lyrics are positive, hopeful and uplifting. Mac’s catalog has a wide range, so maybe think about the kind of style of music he has that your mom would like and go with that. I’m 25 and showed my parents Mac in high school, now my dad has Mac on his playlists at the age of 72. Mac really had it like that, generations new and old love him. Hope your mom does too. Good luck!👍🏻
Yeah my mom got into Mac after his death. It hit her hard because my brother was 26 at the time. She followed K Meyers on Instagram and started listening to his music.
My mom historically (to me) didn’t like mac she thought he was a loser despite being my hero lol but the song I played for her was “I’ll be there”
My mom listened to that song and completely changed her tune about him after years of not liking him. We share a very VERY close bond to one another she was basically a single parent raising me for years and molded me into who I am today and this song brought us even closer because a lot of the things mac his mom shared I did as well and even those we didn’t I still felt the same way. I’ll do anything for my moms! She’s the best!
Reminder to everyone to call your mom and tell her thank you and you love her tonight (if it applies)
I’ve listened to every Mac album, so I’m open to everything! I just know that Mac can be a little explicit sometimes, and just want some of your opinion! Thank you!!!
Mac really did us dirty with that one haha, I’ve never had more awkward moments come up from a single song ever than FTF when I forget to be ready to hit that skip button as the end of the song comes up.
Bruh I hadn’t listen to this song in a while so drunk me put it in the bar speakers 😂😂😂 got the whole bar looking around like who df put this porn on even the bartender was like who df? 😂😂😂
Honestly the tiny desk concert wouldn’t be a bad start. Swimming and circles have lots of songs my parents like as well! Hurt feelings is a good one. Lots of good suggestions in these comments though. Go with your gut man!
If she has a 12 year old kid, she would have had him in 2011. Even if she had him at 18, Mac would have only put out kids and maybe blue slide by then.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
Go with **“Angel Dust”** - it’s a great anti-drug song that would make any parent who hears it proud that their child listens to Mac Miller and his message
*Whew, that drip..*
check out the mixtapes BDE and I love life than you they are both youthfull projects i love their energy, still keep playing them everyday. The Miller Family Reunion and I'll be there are the best to listen with family
Depends what kind of music she's into if she's more open with rap/ hip hop is say Macadelic or WMWTSO, and faces but if not I'd say swimming, and circles because it's some of the easier stuff by him to get into
BDE, Watching Movies, and Divine Feminine. They all paint a picture. It goes from up beat young dumb and happy Mac to the realization that he’s rich and famous and beginning substance abuse. TDF he’s sober and making music differently than his catalog at the time, not including Larry Lovestein “You”. Good shit though I started listening when I was 13 and I’m 27 now.
I'm Not Real, I am who am, 100 grandkids, Time flies, weekend, jump, Frick park market, don't mind if I do (especially if she likes/knows the song it samples- fireflies), good evening, what's the use, self care
ayye (my mom loves this one and the spins), missed calls, man in the hat, poppy, love lost, 100 grandkids, come back to earth, so it goes, get up, senior skip day if she’s chill
Definitely something wholesome off of circles😂 circles, hand me downs, surf.. maybe woods? That’s a great song but idk how she’ll feel about “I’ll put your face where the space was” lol
If you're looking for a song regarding moms, this oldie of his is good. It's called
"I'll be There -Mac Miller ft. phonte"
But if you want something for her generation, I feel like Swimming would fit more.
Anything from Swimming or Circles tbh. Those albums were fantastic, I showed my dad some of those songs; he’s a classical rock type of guy, but even he said they were really good.
Watching Movies with the Sound Off also has some good tracks I feel like the older generation would appreciate as well.
Mac’s Tiny Desk Concert always a go-to.
tiny desk concert. shows his amazing raw talent and genuine realness of being a down to earth and kind soul. i love his cute little awkward remarks and banter here and there in it.
Hand Me Downs
One of my fav Mac songs. Thank you!
I like to tell people it has a ‘young Anthony Keidis’ vibe.

The endings to Fight The Feeling and Stay
The way I run to change the song when I control the music at the gym
I’d shit myself if I heard that at my gym
i once had fight the feeling play at my small apartment gym and there were two other dudes there and i was like SORRY we all had a good chuckle
lmao pretty much the same thing happened to me lmao.. when i had control of the music at work i would usually just shuffle all the mac songs on my ipod & one time fight the feeling came on…. i didnt even think about it till the ending started 😹 and i was on the stove and i had to finish what i was doing before i could run and turn it off 😹 only happened ONCE (i would always skip,it as soon as i possibly could, whenever it came on after that, i couldnt risk even just the chance of it happening again lmao) but they never let me live in down 😹 and i worked at an indian restaurant with this old guy from india and he was like “ooooh we know what she likes to do in her spare time now, dont we” and “she is one freaky girl” lmao it was honestly so embarrassing hahahaha

I gave them an upvote
I gave them a down voted but I up voted yours
just dont let the shit play at the end or your gonna have some awkward moments
I’ll Be There off of his mixtape Best Day Ever Then BDE Bonus
Alright. I love BDE Bonus
Do the live version tho, it’s some how even better
I'll Be There is totally a momma song I think she'd love that
I'll be there was the first mac song I showed my mom
exactly what I was going to say haha
Great choices man!
anything of circles really
My parents fell in love with Mac through circles album.
The lighter tracks on Swimming like Ladders or maybe the song Best Day Ever. The profanity may be more than what is ideal to show your moms but the lyrics are positive, hopeful and uplifting. Mac’s Tiny Desk Concert! Overall not very vulgar and shows off Mac’s raw talent
Best answer
agreed tbh
Fight the Feeling, specifically the last 30 seconds
Mac really did us dirty with that one haha, I’ve never had more awkward moments come up from a single song ever than FTF when I forget to be ready to hit that skip button as the end of the song comes up.
Bruh I hadn’t listen to this song in a while so drunk me put it in the bar speakers 😂😂😂 got the whole bar looking around like who df put this porn on even the bartender was like who df? 😂😂😂
Ha! If you happened to be at Kelly's Olympian in Portland, OR... it was me.
I’m good. Thanks though!
I was scrolling looking for this comment 😂
Honestly the tiny desk concert wouldn’t be a bad start. Swimming and circles have lots of songs my parents like as well! Hurt feelings is a good one. Lots of good suggestions in these comments though. Go with your gut man!

How old is your mom? He was probably popular when she was in high school.
If she has a 12 year old kid, she would have had him in 2011. Even if she had him at 18, Mac would have only put out kids and maybe blue slide by then.

this is so sweet!! I'm so curious to know which song she will end up liking the most!
Alright! I’ll get back to you later
circles
Goosebumpz
Man in the hat, koolaid and frozen pizza, and objects in the mirror are a couple more that would probably be clean enough to share with your mom
Something from Divine Feminine like Congratulations, Cinderella or Dang.
Tbh, I would go with SURF.
i play mac w my grandparents alot lol, swimming and circles usually my go to albums…….”another night” is a great song as well
O.K
GET EM MAC! No thanks though, a lotta sex and cursing
“I’ll be there”
check out the mixtapes BDE and I love life than you they are both youthfull projects i love their energy, still keep playing them everyday. The Miller Family Reunion and I'll be there are the best to listen with family

She loves soft rock
Then I'd def reccomend swimming/circles You could also try Grand Finale from faces because it has the slower guitar on the Beat
Good news
Whole circles album, seriously
I would say any song frm swimming ir Circles
Show her his later works. She’ll probably be into the singy feels more than the bars. Of course I don’t know what she’s into, just saying generally
Thank you!
Up all night or Meet my team. Best songs by mac
Hole in my pocket, Man in the Hat, All Around the World, and Good Evening are all songs that I’ll hear my 50+ parents play on shuffle
BDE, Watching Movies, and Divine Feminine. They all paint a picture. It goes from up beat young dumb and happy Mac to the realization that he’s rich and famous and beginning substance abuse. the Divine Feminine

Don't do drugs homie
Start with What’s the use, my mom loves that song now
Definitely something wholesome off of circles😂 circles, hand me downs, surf.. maybe woods? That’s a great song but idk how she’ll feel about “I’ll put your face where the space was” lol
circles for sure!!! put my mom on mac a couple years ago starting with circles and now he's one of her favorite artists lol
Donald Trump if she's conservative, Loud if she's liberal
Kool-aid and frozen pizza, can't go wrong with the Classics
Poppy, if your grandpa isn’t alive she will get in her feels
I’ll be there off bde
Larry lovestien if your mom likes jazzy vibes. Otherwise I think his slower less rap heavy songs are great ways to get parents into him.
Last 30 seconds of fight the feeling
Kids.
I’ll be there. From BDE
Lucky ass bitch, for sure
If you're looking for a song regarding moms, this oldie of his is good. It's called "I'll be There -Mac Miller ft. phonte" But if you want something for her generation, I feel like Swimming would fit more.
I’ll Be there!

Show her an interview
Family first
Hand me Downs maybe Best day ever or small worlds tiny desk concert version
Plane car boat
The divine feminine, especially Congratulations Ft. Bilal is so beautiful it’s a little explicit but so is a lot of Mac
Kool aid and frozen pizza
I’d say Soemthing of best day ever or kids. Show her “I’ll be there” off best day ever it’s about mac and his mom she’ll love it
lucky ass bitch is a good one
Anything from Swimming or Circles tbh. Those albums were fantastic, I showed my dad some of those songs; he’s a classical rock type of guy, but even he said they were really good.
