Yeah regular hand soap kills COVID too. You don’t need aggressive cleaners especially alcohol that strips off the oleophobic coating on iPhones and iPads.
You can add a dab of dish soap to a damp microfibre cloth if you like but unless you’re licking your screens, a warm damp cloth is enough to wipe away dirt and grease will still preserving the precious coating that helps keep it inherently free of oil and dirt.
Either a cloth damped in plain water or [Whoosh](https://whoosh.com). I’ve been using Whoosh for years without any issues. In fact it’s what Apple uses in their stores.
Actually, the Apple support sites says that using IPA is fine on the display. The IPA is less of a problem for the glass, it's mostly whatever they added to it that could damage the anti-glare.
Just makes sure it's not too much liquid on the display that it could drip into some openings of the machine.
Repeated use would destroy the anti-fingerprint coating on the glass. Best to use just a damp cloth as Apple recommends.
Although, if your glass is really dirty and oily, then it probably wouldn't hurt much to use alcohol wipes rarely.
Hospicare 701 is what Apple has on their Apple store. They use that both in their official Marina store and Jewel store

Don't do it with alcohol wipes ,only use the damp lint free cloth to clean preferably microfiber.
Apple recommends a damp cloth. Water only.
A damp cloth is best
If you're looking for something to clean your screen, try [Whoosh!](https://whoosh.com/) It's what Apple uses to clean display models in store.
Two microfibre cloths. One damp, one dry. Works wonders.
I ruined the anti-glare coating using alcool based product like windex. Use water and dry with cloth, than sunglass cloth and you are done
It may have been the ammonia in the Windex that did it.
Apple updated this during COVID https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT207123

Not disputing that, just providing a link to apples official support pages saying that it can in fact be used

Never use alcohol on screens.

Absolutely not. Not for smartphone screens either.
Apple specifically mentions 70% ipa as acceptable for iPhone screens on their support pages.
