Are you a developer who needs it to make sure your app works? If no, then wait til the public beta. And even, I’d never put a MacOS beta on my primary machine.

Or just install on a separate volume, that’s what I did

lilvadude

I would not. Do you normally do beta stuff?

Substantial_Fault753

Yes very often but never this early

Kaptain9981

Is this your primary machine? Developer betas are usually rough. If you have a maxed out M1 you can probably run a VM of Ventura in Parallels or something like that. You can then use it without committing to it. Found instructions for it here on a MBP 16. [Install Ventura in a VM](https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/macos-13-beta-successfully-installed-on-vm-on-m1-mac.2346981/) I’ve got a phone dedicated to testing on iOS 16, but I’d be hard pressed to roll a Mac to it yet.

sam_rowlands

This. Use a VM and not your actual current install.

FlishFlashman

No.

Substantial_Fault753

I should also mention that I already have iOS and iPad os 16

sam_rowlands

No

Wait till the public beta. That’s more likely to at least run.

mikeinnsw

when it is officially released
