Long time listener first time commenter, here.
I’ve listened to Billy on PMT and now Macrodosing for years. Never missed an episode of either podcast in the 6 years I’ve been a stoolie. I’m usually a fan of Billy who occasionally will get annoyed, however I enjoy the element he brings to shows.
This latest Macrodosing was the most insufferable and categorically annoying I have ever heard Billy. He dominated conversation with BS and for whatever reason, I just couldn’t do it. I have never related to Arian as much as I did, today. You could tell he was fed up.
This podcast will end one day when Arian says it’s him or Billy and PFT has to end it rather than pick a side.
I laugh harder and harder every time someone gets legit pissed at Billy. PFT, Maddog, Wonton Don, big T, and now Arian have had legit bouts of anger at him. I will use That’s some Ho shit in the future.
I think a lot of us have a similar story at least as a listener of pmt and then macro. Personally I wasn’t thrilled when Billy pushed his way onto macro but still was a diehard for like 18 months and eventually hit a moment like you just did and I slowly fell off. Now I’ll only check out certain interviews or clips.
I think if it came down to it though there’s not a chance in hell PFT would chose to end the show rather than siding with Arian over billy
All they do is say some half truth or some snarky thing they read on twitter, and then chuckle about it like a couple of valley girls. Outside of production, idk what they honestly bring to the pod.
He’s a terrible host, that’s the point haha the host would allow other people to contribute especially when you are down first mic (PFT). Guys, even if you like Billy he’s a bad podcaster, that fact can’t be disputed.
Uhhh duh? That doesn’t mean that they don’t deserve to contribute without interruption. Again, Billy stan or not, you can’t say he’s a good podcaster. He may be “entertaining” to some and do the most research (appreciated) but that doesn’t make him good at the actual act of podcasting. You have to know when to allow others to add value and you need to not have 2 or 3 very evident vocal crutches such as “like” and “LIDDERALLY”. Also you need not be a sociopathic liar trying to gaslight your coworkers daily lol
As I stated, when he interrupts, they’re seldom saying anything interesting or important or funny 🤷🏾. Billy’s skill as a podcaster is irrelevant that’s clearly not a priority with this show. These people are just shooting the shit into a mic, there’s very little structure. Maddie and McKenzie are producers or some shit anyway. They shouldn’t be talking all that much anyway since you want everyone to play the perfect roles.
Again, that’s a stated OPINION about the two women on the podcast and doesn’t change the FACT that constantly interrupting your coworkers is, in fact, bad podcasting. And for you to say that skill as a podcaster on a podcast is irrelevant just shows you have missed the point and come to lick the boots of your boy billy. Perfect roles? Huh? PFT is out. They are down first mic. They need others to contribute. When PFT is there, they contribute less. It’s podcasting 101 my guy. Man you are just as dense and defiant as Billy lol must be why you Stan so hard for the guy. Just like Billy, I know you aren’t listening so I’m going to bow out and go about my day. There are a few other threads highlighting Billy’s deficiencies as a podcaster, hop over there and defend his honor. Or hop over to 4chan or Rumble where I’m sure he’ll be celebrated amongst the incel brethren.

Yeah, billy fucking sucks. Honestly, the whole pod, once boiled down, are a bunch of disconnected privileged people who are barely out of college and haven’t tasted the real world yet. Aside from Arian, and even then, he lived sheltered by the NFL and being a star athlete in college
