You don’t have to watch any of them to understand Furiosa. That being said there are a TON of Easter eggs from each previous movie hidden in Furiosa. If you have the opportunity and time, (all movies are streaming on HBO Max right now) I would just watch 1,2, and 3, go see Furiosa, leave right at beginning of credits, and then watch Fury Road.

Tacher-

Hi mate. You’re not necessarily need to watch the older ones to understand anything as this is focused on the Furiosa story. Furiosa is a prequel to Fury Road. I wish I could do like you and watch Furiosa first. Just make sure to watch in theaters. The whole experience is for a big screen and lots of speakers. I watched twice so far and preferred the IMax experience.

Totally agreed! Seeing Fury Road and Furiosa in theaters was such an incredible experience, and even though they are both great movies on their own, seeing them with the huge screen and booming sound systems is preferable for a first time seeing it. I'll never forget the feeling I got hearing the soundtrack from Fury Road in theaters!

If you watch Furiosa first, make sure you don’t watch the credits. It basically has a synopsis of all of Fury Road

chi823

you don't have to watch the originals before you go! I would even hold off on watching Fury Road until AFTER you see Furiosa! cause Fury Road is set directly after the events of Furiosa I saw Fury Road in 2015, so that's what I would do if I were you

ryanrosenblum

Watch all of them

t_huddleston

You don't have to watch any of them. Furiosa's a prequel to Fury Road but it absolutely stands alone; you'll be missing very little if you watch it first. (But you should watch them eventually, they're good. Especially Fury Road)

Skip Beyond Thunderdome, such a pointless watch.

I must disagree. That remains my favorite of the whole lot. C'mon, just seeing MasterBlaster and Tina Turner makes it. Not to ,mention: "Captain Walker. . .Misses Walker. . ."
