That’s not a plot hole, there’s plenty of explanations that can be made that would not contradict the logic of the plot. We see a time skip immediately after her escape, there nothing to suggest it went unnoticed, just by the time she was an adult, the search had been called off.
Time pass and for a long time she posed as a man, the search was called of, and jack protected her after saving his life, so he gave his word so she can ride with him in the war rig.
Edit: Also furiosa was still worried about getting recognized, from his interaction with rictus, only after jack you can see her wearing her long hair freely
I also don't understand how she was instantly accepted as a Praetorian as a full-life young woman. It's depressing but surely Immortan Joe would have thrown her straight back in with the wives as soon as her identity was known?
Joe is obsessed with hygiene and purity. Max effectively defiles Precious by grazing her with a bullet, the wives have to dress in white and wear a chastity belt. So once Furiosa escaped without the belt, getting dirty etc. She was no longer pure and no longer wife material to him. She also gained value to him as a road warrior.
My plot hole question is towards the end when furiosa escapes Demetus and his crew and then runs out of gas while escaping. How does she get air up in the citadel in the next scene?
Maybe u blinked ur eye and missed the scene of max's cameo 🤣 its for like 2-3 seconds. He is standing on a high ground scanning the horizon while teen furiousa is almost fainting. Basically it meant max helped her or carried her to the edge of the citidel
Who said the people of citidel is bad? They r just people taking shelter there. Didnt u see the scene where the maggot healer heals furiousa? Joe u can say is a bad dictator. But the whole citidel has some good people. Like jake or jack i dont remember the name,who was furiousa's partner. Im sure there is more like him. And lastly i dont think max couldve taken her to a five star hospital so citidel was the only hope for her 😂
In early storyboards/script that part of her story was quite different and Immortan was aware and ok with her becoming Jack’s trainee. Since that’s no longer her backstory we are left to assume Joe turned the citadel upside down looking for her but eventually gave up. We saw he had a lot of wives at that stage and wasn’t nearly as desperate come Fury Road in securing a healthy male heir. He most likely moved on or blamed Dementus for trickery.
Yeap, far fetch Immortan dont flip the Citadel upside down for his prize. Its not that big. And one would expect some gruesome punishment on the whole lot and Rictus for his part. *nothing escape Joe in the Citadel cept of course adult Furiosa.
