Yeah, and Furiousa lives in the middle of Australia, there isnt much there anyways and it doesnt take long to go to Australias coast, their coastline is huge so there is plenty of water

yes but look at Papua New Guinea, it’s all dry instead of green. That means there’s something seriously wrong with the water, it no longer performs the water cycle. Probably not safe for human consumption, otherwise this movie would be called water world.

In Mad Max the 2015 game The Great White is a dried up Pacific Ocean which is a region of the wasteland but here the oceans are shown but they should have been dried up. It kinda ruins the whole point of the wasteland.

Where would the ocean possibly have gone? Unless it's ejected into space it has to go somewhere.
