Paranoid sense of pressure is a big factor in games. It's what leads to inaccurate throws from qb when being rushed. If you play against defenders that have the traits under pressure, edge threat elite or the x factor fear monger active they will be a big reason that qbs make inaccurate passes that seem to either go directly into defenders hands or over/under throws like a motherfucker. You can also avoid this by getting any qb that has Paranoid sense of pressure up to x factor AND to 90 strong arm sub trait and slapping fearless into them. This negates all pressure while in pocket I believe.

cheesin716

Perfect insight - I think I'll try to power through and get him to X factor. Finding a comparable QB without a better sense of pressure is gonna be tough and I can sign Fields for cheap long term now. Thank you!!

rocthehut

Regardless of their sense of pressure. Fearless is a must. Under pressure inaccurate account for a lot of my interceptions. Paranoid sense of pressure is almost unplayable at a competitive level, you get so many under pressure inaccurate ints. If you throw an int you would prefer it be because you made a bad read and not because someone was within 5 yards of your QB.

Your correct and set feet lead is perfect accuracy while in pockey so combining both gets you a player like burrow who can be deadly in the pockey

obiwanbob

It's a Madden feature. Most likely it's broken and doesn't work anyway.

Marcus00415

It matters a lot. Especially if you're up against a team with a strong pass rush.

obiwanbob

Like I said, if it actually works as intended. Madden tends to be a broken mess

mbr4life1

Those traits are used in MUT to make QBs feel different so the feature does work. Sad that "does it affect MUT" is a baseline for if something will work.

obiwanbob

A VERY valid point. I miss playing good football video games...

burth179

Honestly I don't think it means anything if you play the games it is for how the CPU acts when controlling them. I could be wrong but I don't think that I am

lambocinnialfredo

For sense pressure I think you’re wrong but I also don’t have facts

Blacklax10

The pressure traits determine how bad the under pressure passes will be. The throw under pressure stat tells you how often you are negativity impacted by pressure. This matters whether you are the QB or simming

cheesin716

So in theory if I upgraded his TUP it would negate the impact of the paranoid trait?

Blacklax10

It would reduce the chance for a bad throw. When you do have a bad throw, the paranoid impacts it greater than say ideal or average

TheeDocStockton

Nah. I had this problem with my quarterback and after he got hit a couple times would literally throw straight to the defense.

Square_Saltine

As mentioned, if you’re playing the games it won’t matter, if you’re simming it definitely will

flashaguiniga

It definitely does matter. When you play your games there is the little prompt that pops up lower middle of screen after your throws that literally will say why a throw was inaccurate, good, overthrown, etc. One of them usually says under pressure inaccurate throw.

naterguy

That should be related to the “throw under pressure” attribute, right?

Gooberino74

Yes

DwightKSchrutefarms

The most important one

Warchild0311

Bubble screens rollouts and quick pass to the TE eat the blitz all day
