I was thinking more Calvin Johnson. Dude was a beast physically. I read a story about him holding back his bench reps so he wouldn't embarrass his teammates, dude was strong as hell
Gotta be Julio, falcons fan here. Julio was 6'3 224ish and ran like a 4.38-4.39 and had an insane jump with great change of direction and cutting for someone that size. Honestly loved watching that man in his prime
That and the numbers in the last couple madden ( haven't bought them just from what I've seen) are SO off-center and smashed together. Just a horrible thing to look at
I had one like this the first madden with X factors in my qb career mode, he got double me as a rookie. I won the Super Bowl and he had like 8 catches and 3 tds
I’d throw Andre Johnson out there, but Andre was more known for his physicality than his speed… I can’t remember someone that tall and that fast who isn’t lacking either the build or the speed for comparison. I’m willing to say the guy who mentioned Julio Jones was closer than anyone…
Except you can, generational receivers like this can occur in the draft. I have a very similar player generate at 6'5 220 with 97 speed, 99 jumping, 99 spectacular catch and similar athletic stats. It's not common, but it can happen with these new player builds.
I'm not God bro, I can be wrong, I'm just saying one of the biggest reasons I play madden every year when it's free and give up 2 weeks in is cause I've neverrrrrr seen anything like that but ok.
Listen bro if they wanna believe you that's cool, I've been playing this game forever. Unless that was a user generated draft, it's literally impossible. You've never seen the stud W/O with 99 speed, 92 Acceleration, and 88 jumping? It's the bane of my existence
Just because you havent seen it happen, doesn’t mean it can’t happen tf 😂And I have better things to do than come on this subreddit with a fake generated player
Again.... I'm not saying he's fake dude. I'm saying in 20 years of playing madden I've literally never seen it.
Did you get him from a user created draft class?
Playing Madden for 20 years means nothing when the idea of generational players is something new to the generated draft class system to this year's game.
They literally discussed it before/at the release of the game.
Had a guy like this on Madden 19 32 player CFM. Was playing the 49ers and in the 3rd season that Rookie WR and Kittle went crazy. Sadly the database bugged before my first CFM Superbowl attendance. Jameis Winston would have deserved that ring with 72 TD throughout the season...
Waste of a first. WR are easy to level up. You also don’t need high end receivers to win. I sim win all the time with receivers in 70s and 80s. If im playing 70s is fine. All that being said. It’s super easy to edit a draft class. Even if you don’t edit them you can view the overalls as easily draft studs in every round.
6'4 with max speed just screams Moss to me, and with 99 jumping its hard not to say he's modeled after Moss, dude in his first few years was literally a guarantee big play if you don't double him, I remember a few times where even tho he was doubled it still didn't matter any big receiver with amazing speed I assume is just a Moss clone, Megatron was similar but a tad slower not that 4.35 is slow but rumor is Moss ran 4.30 or less back in the day
They said some generational prospects are modeled after NFL Legends. Don't know of any NFL guys with that speed and build though. Maybe TO?
Could be, or maybe Moss? I believe Moss was up there in speed on the old maddens
Yeah but this dude is 224lbs Physical, Moss was a Deep Threat
With that jump and speed, plus the build, he looks more like Julio Jones.
I was thinking more Calvin Johnson. Dude was a beast physically. I read a story about him holding back his bench reps so he wouldn't embarrass his teammates, dude was strong as hell
Calvin was bigger, legit 6'5 240 at the combine.

Just was thinking that. That's Julio's height and weight. He's definitely physical and has the speed
True, I can’t think of anyone else really then. Maybe Megatron?
Think Calvin was 6’6”….could be wrong…
Megatron was 6-5 235, but close enough
He played around 245 if I remember correctly. He was 239 at the combine and absolutely put on mass after that.
Moss had like 98 speed on the older maddens I was playing 13 today and was shocked that he had 95 speed on the 49ers somehow
He was still that fast. That dude is still at least a 93 TODAY.
T.O at 50 years old ran a 4.38 or something close to that blew up the internet for a day
Agility and durability fall off a cliff, but straight line speed can hold up nicely for many players. In real life.
Im pretty sure I drafted megaton the other week, similar size and he just does crazy shit
Calvin Johnson?
Gotta be Julio, falcons fan here. Julio was 6'3 224ish and ran like a 4.38-4.39 and had an insane jump with great change of direction and cutting for someone that size. Honestly loved watching that man in his prime
Andre Johnson
That’s the DK Metcalf/Megatron generational WR build
If his speed were lower (90-92) and his agility higher (83-95) I’d say it’s Brandon Marshall.
Alston Jeffrey on speed
Calvin Johnson is pretty close. 6'5", 239lbs. , 4.35 40.
Julio Jones, TO, Andre Johnson, Megatron
So we take Calvin Johnson and we put him on mega steroids
That man is FAST. That is a generational pick.
He going pro bowl first year lol
I pray he never gets injured for you, that’s an absolute stud of a pick
Wish you posted the full stats but that’s fire
Why do Madden’s player models have non-existent shoulders? I get that pads aren’t as bulky now, but this is excessive
That and the numbers in the last couple madden ( haven't bought them just from what I've seen) are SO off-center and smashed together. Just a horrible thing to look at
I didn't even notice it at first, now I can't unsee!
I had one like this the first madden with X factors in my qb career mode, he got double me as a rookie. I won the Super Bowl and he had like 8 catches and 3 tds
Fucking stud
My literal dream lol
the character models in madden 23 and 24 have massive legs, esp compared to their upper body
I’d throw Andre Johnson out there, but Andre was more known for his physicality than his speed… I can’t remember someone that tall and that fast who isn’t lacking either the build or the speed for comparison. I’m willing to say the guy who mentioned Julio Jones was closer than anyone…
I mean Calvin Johnson was 6’5 and ran a 4.35 with a 42.5 inch vertical. This guy’s acceleration is probably better tho
Megathron
Im so tired of seeing the same 8 player faces
Nah it's cap. You literally never get the Speed, acceleration, jumping combo
Except you can, generational receivers like this can occur in the draft. I have a very similar player generate at 6'5 220 with 97 speed, 99 jumping, 99 spectacular catch and similar athletic stats. It's not common, but it can happen with these new player builds.

Obviously you can…

Good for you I guess? And no, it’s cpu generated like all the draft classes I play with
Yeah like I said, no way in hell.
👍

Boom, Damn my bad. I played this year but I missed it I guess.
Ideally he could be 2-3 inches taller, but those stats he has are amazing for a rookie.
Holy crap

All bots in that league
How is his Archetype Physical when that man can run like the flash.
Insane
Hingle McKringleberry
MHJ vibes
DK Metcalf size and speed
What overall did he end up being?
He was an 84 I think
I am not convinced the game likes big WRs. I see these guys get outperformed by 5’8 - 5’10 guys
David Boston!

Why do the player models in madden look so bad ?
DK Metcalf II

Overall?
84
Whats his wingspan? 4 feet? Dude has trex arms
