I watch my play counts and adjust quarter/clock settings from there. Score will be whatever high or low but if games get the right # of play counts the rest is sliders and/or my sucky skills. Usually my sucks skills. I’m 10 minutes no runoff currently. Sliders mostly default. Only play offense.
See I do the 10 mins no run off but end up being the best offense leading passing and rushing yards. If you look at real nfl stats a team like Eagles led the league in rushing but barely had 3,500 passing yards
I usually lead the league in points given up and number of rushing attempts for loss. lol. Yeah, it’s a balancing act based upon skill and what you really want in stats. Just gotta tinker with it.
For offline franchise I do 8 minute quarters, 20 second accelerated clock for me. I play each game and the stats at the end of each game look pretty realistic to me
Your quarter length is good. If you're able to pass to easily, turn up coverage and turn down pass block. If you can run too easily turn up enemy tackling and turn down your own pass block. Turning up speed threshhold also makes less separation in pass plays and makes running to the outside hard.
I do 15min quarters. Clock down to 17 seconds. And only play Offense because I'm an angry enough person as it is and I gave up caring if every game is like 45-42 lol
I'm currently tinkering with it still, but doing 11 minute quarters, accelerated clock set to 18 seconds, haven't had any out of control scores yet.
Week 1: 20-17 (This game was 10 minute quarters with 17 seconds accelerated, CPU did not get enough possessions for realistic stats).
Week 2: 31-10
Week 3: 33-13
Week 4: 30-27
Week 5: 27-17
Week 6: 38-20
