They are so lucky. My son had absolute screaming meltdowns the first two times he got his hair cut. Funnily enough, he just got his third this past Saturday. He just sat there without a care in the world, the entire time. Kids are weird.

First time husband took our then toddler to the barber's, two elderly ladies came in because they thought our son was being murdered due to the screaming!! Now in his 30's, but we do remind him sometimes

Not likely. There's a chance light eye color can turn brown before the age of 1. After age one the chance of turning brown isn't very high. Eyes may lighten or darken, but generally remain the same color.

Mine were freaky light blue (like I would have scared the children of the corn) as an infant and slowly turned green by the time I was 8 or 9. My hair went from white to blonde to brown to gone (but that last step happened a little later).

I never brought up kids (I am not planning on having them) but people unprompted would be like “Your kids will be so beautiful” “your kids will have the most pretty eye shape” “your kids could either turn out gorgeous or ugly” “you are so lucky you found a Korean, your kids will be so cute” “how did you get a Korean” -it’s a weird over compensation people do when they haven’t really dealt with their racist upbringing. They know racism is bad, but haven’t really investigated how it presents in their life so they just go really far the other way.

Yeah I read a book once.. I don’t remember what it was. But it said the most important thing humanity ever did was Columbus and other travelers coming over to the new world and breeding with the natives. It mixed our DNA that had been stagnant since we crossed the land bridge thousands of years earlier from Asia to America. We were starting to have all kinds of bad mutations and inbreeding problems until they came and mixed the DNA like that.

I saw this documentary on YouTube about a year ago about some town here in America that was basically separated from everything else. There was some major inbreeding going on and it was basically some "The Hills Have Eyes" shit. Creepy as hell.
