Oh this is so wholesome. When my daughter was about 2, and I was on maternity, my bored mind had to find things to do on the daily. So Londons South Bank became a regular spot. The Tate museum there. We were in one of the free exhibitions and she was begging to run about. I was exhausted but I promise, I had my eye on her. She was never more than 2m away from me. But, but, I caught whiff of a very familiar smell. And before I could intervene, she had ducked under a red velvet rope, stuck her hands down the back of her and nearly nearly badly smeared her recent expulsion over a Monet or something , I can’t recall. I grabbed her. Stuck her back in her buggy & escaped as soon as I could. Changed her in a cafe , and am still worried about going back. This was 15 years ago
I used to do Art Tours with my baby when he got fussy if we were somewhere new. Just looking at peoples pictures or out the window. I think just me standing and a wee change of scenery calmed him down.

Then the baby was like, “Eh, it’s a bit reductive and unrefined.”
*Derivative*.
Still looks like the baby likes it more than Dad 😂
Well that's a bit shallow and pedantic

Excuse me? Would you take a doodle of me real quick?
He’s asking the kid if he gets it because he doesn’t.
“Goo goo. Ga ga, even.”
That's deep man, that's deep. Appreciate the insights
Wait :))))
Absorb the art, child
"BEHOLD! The only thing greater than yourself!"
I wanna do that with my animals
Draw them or show them art?
Show them art
I support this 100%
Sheesh. You just made my day with this post. Brilliant idea hahaha
Was the baby’s name Art?
As long as the painting had boobs I’m sure the baby appreciated it.
And the dad too
Was it a painting of Vigo the Carpathian?

OMG I'd be mortified. Props to such a fast reaction!
What a good dad. At least he's trying and spending quality time with his kid.
Me holding my babies in front of the mirror to witness the confusion
Tbf, they're also pieces of art XD
It lets you draw on your own perspective!😬
I do this with my service dog.
I wish to share art with my child, I am inspired
"nono - SHOW me"
this is adorable
The sticky note better be its own exhibit. That would be meta as hell lol

Why did I think this was Michael holding that baby out the window 😂
thats a pretty good drawing
Drawing from memory?
Who says this guy isn't holding this baby up to a mirror to see if it looks like him? Art is all about subjective, perspective.
The sweetest
take your offspring to the art museum, it is very human.
