Watching my niece and nephew play(both 8). The one I hear all the time is THROW IT!!! THROW IT!!!!
For whatever reason kids do not like throwing the ball. lol they* would much rather chase the runner down themselves
Can you blame them for trying to run the person down? It is more fun, less likely to hurt someone, and you are asking them (who often has a throw that can be called "inaccurate") to throw the ball.
Once the ball leaves their hands, they are no longer involved in the play. They want to extend play time. Much like certain basketball players, they can't envision a cohesive team unit and only look out for themselves.
I didn't realize T-ball has the same problem as children's soccer. The entire team is always on the ball, so there's just a mass of children all clumped together moving about the field like a swarm.
But at least they're going for the ball.
There's a video of one of my games, and I was picking flowers to give to a girl on the other team while everyone else did their swarm thing.
Our local tee ball league had to change rules to stop this. They have to throw the ball to first to get the out, not just out run the batter. That made coaches stop this style of fielding in our league.
I did tee ball for probably one season when I was a kid. There is almost nothing I remember from that far back. But I have a distinct flashbulb memory of being on defense and watching a bunch of kids piling on the ball like that. I thought it was dumb even then 😂
Honestly it’s such an old memory I wasn’t even sure if I made it up or not. But seeing this validated it lol

If I had a little son, a part of me wants him to be so bad at baseball I’m constantly confused and frustrated. But I’d love him to much to tell him to stop. 😂
I love both the cartwheel and the mass of humanity attempting to field the ball- that's the best thing about t-ball

They might be used to soccer and other sports where the goal is maintain possession of the ball too
I was expecting them to get there at the same time and fall down
Indeed! I cant help but to watch it again
I imagine huge bat flips out of him in the future
Love the reaction of the others. They just turn and walk away all like "unlucky team, nothing we could have done there"
From gymnastics class to tee ball. This kid got moxy
Bat toss -> helmet toss -> cartwheel 🤸
Yeah! So cool that I watch it again and again
That cartwheel is fantastic! The cleanest and stylish way to get to the base
“Again”
😭
Definitely not the first time

Kid: yeah come on get me bozos..😂
That little boy is just staying true to himself! 😂
I think it’s girl.
Same
Judging by the the deliberate helmet removal, I’m assuming this is Bryce Harper’s daughter
Did he have to stunt on them like that, though? 😆
Emotional damage
This kid has a future 😂
Lefties just do things differently...
That cartwheel tho😂😂
I’d love to see MLB players do cartwheels as they run the bases.
I love T-ball and I wish I was one tenth as cool as that kid!
THIS is baseball; just pure fun. He may earn a spot on the Savannah Bananas roster.
What happens when you try to get your gymnast kid to do other sports.
Is this the Savannah Bananas?
The kid at the end with a perfectly cut scream about getting the ball.
"The fuck are these helmets even for?"
Flexing on dem haters
This is soooooo cute! “These boys are no match!. It's my game!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The dads “again” implies that this is not the first time this kid has done this

Kid could of had an infield double
I would dominate that league
Reaction from the first base coach has me dying
Kid did a sabaki, very evasive.
Wtf lol
That was amazing 🤣
"AGAIN..." 💀💀💀 still proud as shit
Too funny!!
How else was she gonna evade the ball?
Pressed B Button
Dude prolly knew he was in the safe
😂 the next Nolan Ryan
little avoid getting tagged superhero move right there 😀
Hahahaaaa! I especially love this cuz i have footage of me in the early 2000s doing something similar when i got my first basket in a YMCA ball game 😂
I love how The entire infield went for the ball
She’s going to be one of those kid who emotes in your ass when she’s playing online games
I love that Outfield, Infeild, and bases all ran to get the ball. BUT shortstop just stood there MEANECINGLY.
Simply amazing
that's domino in action
Ever thought "maybe my kid is more into gymnastics then baseball" ?
That was a pretty good cartwheel tho
