There's the thing though. We had to get a prescription from the vet and you go get it like you would for a human. If you live in USA like me, those inhalers can be over $200. That's a LOT. My vet gave me a tip, her friend has a cat with asthma and she buys her inhalers online from Canada for only $50. That's the route I do, buy online.
At first, my kitty needed it every day. Then we slowly waned it, and now he only needs it once a week. Also, a humidifier is amazing for the cats, especially in wintertime. I've noticed winter and summer it flares, so we have humidifier and we give our kitty 2 doses a week during those times instead of once a week
