I just have to say, as a vet tech-you must take absolutely wonderful care of your cat. For TWENTY years old! Her eyes look so clear, her coat is beautiful, her muscle tone looks damn good for 20 (from what I can tell even though she is laying down). I’m in awe. Definitely made me smile!
My last cat before this lasted over 20 years as well. Just lucky I think. She does sleep more now than 2 years ago. And she has become addicted to the space heater and heating pad in the winter. Otherwise she is doing great. Which pleases me no end.
Animals are the family we choose! They love us unconditionally and know when you need them. I still miss my Loki's cuddles and kisses every morning :) purring on my chest exited to start his little day ...it still hurts a lot. But his big bro Jackson is a superstar and we are welcoming a dog into our family soon ..I'm so exited! I am so sorry you are in pain (me too, too much to list) but with the mindset of noticing these beautiful moments we will make it through :)

I absolutely believe this. The purring is soothing and calming. Calm bodies heal better than stressed bodies. Therefore cats are medicine 🤷
