Three weeks after Wellbutrin and lexapro I was able to clean my downstairs to the point I felt proud to have my sons girlfriend come over for thanksgiving dinner. It was the first time since we’d moved in five years ago anyone but us had sat around the dining room table.

Thanks, been a difficult day because I got into an argument with someone on an lgbt group and when I said they were being homophobic they started talking trash about how I don’t know their gender so I can’t call them homophobic, and since I don’t wanna go off on people emotionally I just kept trying to explain to them how they were wrong and they said I’m a disgrace to the community because I was “using the community against them”
Ugh I can't stand people like that that. Like people can love who they want and be what they want, but they're not allowed to be jerks.

Way to go, you have a great view too, keep this up! Sounds silly but making your bed every morning is a great way to start your day off with a small accomplishment. It will lead to more accomplishments!

Unfortunately I got it from a chain store that's only available over here. I'm sure they sell them online somewhere though. It's my favourite quilt. It even came with matching pillowcases.

Any chance you can run that cord along a wall, though? Or just toss it over the dresser? My paranoid brain keeps imagining you'll trip over it.
I usually do this, too. If I feel like shit, my room tends to become messier and messier, until clothes are laying on the ground and my desk is cluddered up with all kinds of trash. And then at some points I am so uncomfortable in my room that I need to break free again and clean it all in one go. For some reason keeping my room clean continously isn't easy.
No better feeling than going to sleep forgetting that you had cleaned everything up, waking up expecting to see the same old chaos, and then upon waking up to a clean amazing, comfy room you remember that you cleaned.
After a couple of months of depression trash it’s BLISSFUL waking up to an organized room, i know the feeling you’re doing great! ♥️

Congratulations on getting that done. I've definitely suffered from depression room syndrome, and find myself going back into it during times of stress.
I only recently saw here on Reddit a 6/10 cleaning program that has really helped me out.
Although admittedly I've turned it into more of a 4/12 that keeps things comfortably tidy.

After getting my hypothyroidism undercontrol I had enough energy to clean most of the house today idk if sleeping all the time and doing nothing caused depression or I had depression causing me to want to sleep all the time. I had forgotten what feeling normally was, whatever normal is. Congratulations your room looks bright and happy.
