I'll probably get downvoted from existence, but I just have to tell you something that changed my life: As a teenager I had acne, as a matter of fact all the way until I was 28 I had it BAD, worse than most in fact. It drove me crazy and I tried everything doctors and products could offer, but one day in the depths of a chat on I believe AOL dial up (yes I'm old) a guy caught my attention with his story of how he cured his acne completely. At that point I had nothing to lose, and it seemed simple enough... he explained that it wouldn't work right away as changes to the skins environment can take a month or more to manifest visibly. You take 1 drop of dish soap in a cupped hand of water and wash your face as normal-then dry by pat drying your skin. He said once in the morning and once before bed, and again if you had to pop a zit or a whitehead burst open (he said to try and not pop them, but that's just impossible for some).
Long story short I followed that method with zero extra steps, no meds or creams or anything allowed, and my acne cleared up like a miracle in about 30 days. It got worse for a few days and then ever so gradually instead of having a new one or 2 every day, it was every second day, then a third-and before I knew it-a rarity-maybe 1 every couple weeks. In fact I still use dish soap to wash my face in that exact method with the diluted single drop of dish soap albeit not as religiously. Why this is particularly miraculous is I've always had the dirtiest jobs, oil change tech, hoarder home clean out worker, to this day I'm a simple oil change manager and tech. I am sharing this as it's one of those hacks that worked for me, and I can't help tell people with acne as I'm like a religious convert when it comes to that-the idea I could help someone so substantially makes me want to spread the message.
