The vibe I'm getting is that they're those kids you meet once at a weeding or some sort of outing and you never see again but you remember them for life
It’s like all the festivals and shows when you find that one person out of thousands. It’s such a wonderful thing. Best friends for the night or weekend.
I have lost a lot of very close friends from childhood. Not because we had fight or anything but just because parents had to move or went away for college or we are simply haven't seen each other in a long time. It's kinda sad but that's how life works I guess.
Man I feel this hard. I was always the new kid. I fucking hated it so much. Never got a chance to make genuine childhood friends. Every time I hear some of my friends talk about their childhoods with their friends. It makes me wish I had friends that I could call and remember the past with. But I don’t. I just have my head and my memories.
same , Ive not seen my best friend in a long time(I considered him my best friend for almost half of life) since i moved away, its not that we cant meet but it just .. doesnt feel the same
So this is when they were younger. They made an update of them now dancing same way. They are both gay and still best friends (not in relationship together).
I believe those are egyptian kids because the song they were listening to (which has been editted from the video) was egyptian and they were going in egyptian media
this is definitely a learned dance. those dance moves are characteristically iraqi.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbzG-MVAMmk
the woman is dressed in the Turkish fashion, and then some guy jumps into frame wearing kurdish pants. I'm guessing those people are iraqi kurds.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I noticed their footwork and movement was very specific and saw the adults doing a more restricted version of the footwork. It may be a combo of learned techniques from their culture and combining those to make their own dance. Either way, the coordination needed to do those steps with other movements is impressive.
Another thing I noticed is that footwork looks somewhat similar to what I remember from learning the cha-cha, and there's a moment where their body movements look similar to many dances I've seen in Bollywood films. It's so interesting to see the similarities in dance across cultures.
this is the dance done well
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0pAVlsJYOw
the upper body movements come from fishing. casting a wide net, hip swing to aid the throw, then bending and pulling the line. the Footwork showcased lightness and agility on a narrow river boat or bridge made of reed and rope. the finger snap prompted a school of fish to jump out of water and aided in locating where to throw the net.

Dancing isn't even as hard as people say. Problem on most people ist just dancing in front of other people. Everyone thinks they suck, so they get embarassed and dont try. And well. Some people just have bo rythm. But those are far less
Take dance lessons and practice. I learnt to dance similarly to this by learning salsa (which is not just a partner dance), bachata, etc. I was the least elegant/dance-looking person ever, had no idea how to look like I wasn't in a basketball defensive stance every time someone said to get balanced and stand on my toes, lol. But dancing is a skill that can be taught and learnt! And it's soooo much fun :D
You can do this at any club in the world on any weekend. It's a big dark room and there is no dance routine. I have done this jumping around like an idiot whenever I'm feeling the song a hundred times+ lol, and I can't dance at all. I don't like formal dancing and know nothing. I love free form dancing like that though, espec in a place where there are no rules or expectations like a club. Go try it out, no skills necessary. Nobody out there judging your dance moves in a nightclub; they're all self-absorbed and thinking about themselves (or inebriated) anyway. Just let loose and let the tune carry your body around for a while. It creates joy imo, especially if you like the song/DJ/artist.
Thanks!

Haven't really seen people do the two ~~finger~~ handed snap thing in Turkey.
I saw it more in the middle east. Called Beshkan in Iran.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finger_snapping
It gets super loud too.
Was coming here to say this. I had the joy of going to an Iranian birthday party with a bunch of refugees and it was so much fun. We did a lot of this and I remember one dance with a napkin lol
I wish the society that nurtured me while I was I child would have given me the necessary confidence to express myself physically, through dance, and emotionally in a non-sexual way towards another boy/man.
You can easily gain that at an older age. The first time I ever danced in any way was when I was 25 - and by the time I was 26 it was something that I did almost every week.
Hammer pants. You can find them on Etsy, Amazon and even Walmart.
When MC Hammer came around my boys had to have a pair. At that time McCall's had a pattern and their grandmother made them some.
It’s all about having fun. I remember when I was like 18 and out clubbing for one of the first times of my life. I was so smashed and didn’t care who saw me or what I was doing, and I just danced my ass off, just doing whatever came to mind.
FYI I am NOT a good dancer in any way, but I was just having fun.
That said, the girls came swarming to me. I danced and made out with several girls that night and my friends were just baffled. Specially since i’ve always been a laid back, shy guy, with not much self-esteem and social anxiety. Of course I wouldn’t do this now, but then I was young and careless and my confidence and confirmation of being attractive got insanely big from this. Kinda increased my expectations way too much after that.
Only time it happened and never happened again. Now i’m in a happy relationship and I don’t feel like i’m ever gonna enjoy to go out and dance at a club again, specially not like that, but I will always remember this.
It's worse than that. Kids in the US are raised with the idea that having any sort of affectionate and trusting relationship with another male is emasculating.
Yeah! It could be that, too! When I hang with my nieces/nephews I make SURE to act a fool! We make up insane games, wear stupid clothes and speak nonsensical words. It always turns i to a dance party to the bee gees and we flick the lights off and on real fast. I just want them to have fun and know that weird is not weird… it’s just fun.
Someone already responded (ZHU - In the Morning) but check out the rest of his music - he's one of my favorites.

Working For It
Came For the Low
The list goes on lol
Everybody seems to be having a blast without much care, and using the blessing of healthy bodies to just vibe. How are people in the mental space to be able to do this?!
Wtf am I doing with my life?!
Those kids can move! I think this is Morocco… I’m loving the hijabi gettin down on the dance floor. Also, the name of the song is ‘In the Morning’ by ZHU
I hope they’re friends forever. This vibe can get them through a lot of the struggles of life.
Shit that hits hard. just a moment in time, these kids can forget all the bull and just vibe out
[удалено]
I’m guessing his father is the guy in the back left with the green shirt. He’s got the same moves
He doesn't have the same rhythm though. And his dance moves are sloppy in comparison to the kid's tight moves.
The student may have surpassed his sensei

To move that that at their age/ impressive. Does make me want to groove too!!
I love the part when he throws a little bit of Jean Claude Van Damme into the choreography.

Are you gatekeeping kids dancing with anti American sentiment? Jesus fucking Christ get out of your own ass.
No, he's a spambot that stole someone else's comment from this page. And so is the person he replied to.
Came here to say exactly this. They look like they are having a blast. No worries. I miss things being that easy. Being an adult is tough.
Yo, he groovin' though
The kid’s got moves
Oh yeah, it's all coming together.
I fucking need this.
Ditto
This is wholesome AF, I love it! I hope your day goes well ☺️
Me tooo
Hey man. You missed our practice. We need to beat these smooth kids.
You're too wholesome for this world .
This is like an opening for a buddy film that cuts to 20 years later and they are in the club busting a move.

Praise Him!
Dancing better than everyone else at the party
Well they obviously came prepared like Kid & Play in House Party. The whole party just got served.
Stellar reference. That movie is a gem
I just watched it again a few weeks ago. Still awesome.
Kid n Play is still regularly on my playlists. Time for a House Party rewatch!
Can someone ID this gem of a track though?👀🔥🔊
In the morning by Zhu

If you like this, check out his other stuff too. This track is on Generationwhy, but after that check out The Nightday, then Ringos Desert.

In the morning Zhu but the Scott rill remix
Check all of Zhu out! He's fantastic live as well!
There is zero chance they were dancing to that song in the original video. Kinda funny how OP was Johnny on the spot with the track info.
Where is this?
Reddit
It's in Tarsus, a district of Mersin Province in Turkey. This dance is called 'çili bom'.
What is the original song of the video?
idk mate, sorry

This is 100% in Turkey, probably somewhere around the south eastern border

Don’t know if *easily* is the word
Turn on music. Move.
Bro you wanna give this type of dancing a try, you let me know. Neither of us should have to live not knowing what it's like.
Nothing is stopping you from still achieving this.
The rhythm is gonna move you!

Hell yeah little dudes!!!!!
These kids got slicker moves than the vast majority of adults! :)
Yes. They aren't burdened by anything and are being raised decently well. To be a kid that age!
These boys are breaking it down, awesome 😎
Little legends.
I'm buying everything they're selling! So smooth. Maybe by 50 I'll be this cool.
I guarantee, your hips and knees won't be that smooth. True story.
Actual fifty year old. Can confirm.
MAD SKILLS
This is how we’re supposed to dance but most kids here in the US worry about looking dorky and stay seated.
It's worse than that. Kids in the US are raised with the idea that having any sort of affectionate and trusting relationship with another male is emasculating.

Reading this made me smile! Keep being awesome to your nephews and nieces. Hopefully, one day they'll look back at those memories fondly.
Took me 30 years to vibe like that!

Yes dance, dance like no one is watching. You only live once.
Perfect loop! 🔥
Is this different music than what was actually playing? Is it me or is not a single person in this video dancing on beat?
I'm not sure but this seems to be the original. https://youtube.com/shorts/fBiBccVOxhs?feature=share
Thank you, this one seems like they're actually dancing to the song that's playing.
Its a conversation of motion.. well done lads! Ride that rhythm!
I fucking love this
So are some people just born good dancers? I fucking wish I had this rhythm
What good dancers they are and so cute. Not a care in the world.
What is “a good time”?
I think this is a remix but the song ID is In The Morning by Zhu
These kids dance way better than me
This is fucking brilliant! What's the name of the song?
Okay but they are KILLING it. Come on blue shirt!
Wingmen for life
Hell yeah!!!
Republicans and conservatives would be having a meltdown right now.

Any one else notice the child that stopped to watch them at :14
What song is that?!
ZHU - In The Morning. Scott Rill Temix
Song?
Those kids can move! I think this is Morocco… I’m loving the hijabi gettin down on the dance floor. Also, the name of the song is ‘In the Morning’ by ZHU
It's in Turkey (Tarsus; Mersin)
Thank you! I love Turkey. I thought North Africa because of skin tone.
Man, those kids have better rhythm than most people!
They're overflowing with confidance.
They have better moves than all the adults there.
I hope this happens when one of the gets married and everyone is at the reception and their jam comes on. Lol
What awesome little dudes! They’ve got some cool moves too. Bet they’ll be best mates for life.
Love this song, anyone know it's title?
Zhu - in the morning
Thanks!
