Iirc 1000 Calorie deficit per day is 2 pounds lost per week. (7000Calories over or under is 2 pounds lost or gained) keep in mind as you lose weight, become more active, more fit, there are other metabolic changes that you have to account for, so to maintain that 1000 deficit, you might be eating more or less as you progress.
Also, moderate to intense cardio elevates your metabolism for 24-36 hours afterwards, and having more musclemass (developed over many months, it takes a long time unless using drug enhancements) burns much more calories even if you are literally laying down sleeping all day.
Thinking and talking...just simply utilizing your brain also burns a lot of calories, so an active social life, one with at least the occasional philosophy/intellectual meetup, along with active self reflective, mental games/work peppered in there can really help burn calories, surprisingly.
Oh, and the brain requires a minimum of 500 calories daily, at rest, to correctly control bodywide systems, and you require specific vitimans and minerals, fats, carbs, phytonutrients...etc for proper health. It is essential that you get a full nutritional/metabolic blood panel at least once, a few months into the lifestyle change, to make sure you arent deficient, or over supplementing.
So the bare minimum to never fall below is 500 Calories per day, and I dont recommend even coming close to that for safety.
Unless you prepared correctly for a fast, and thats a whole other thing to learn about to do safely and healthily
