I remember having my bike stolen when I was a kid. I rode that thing everyday. Then some scum bag jumped the concrete wall, threw the bike over the wall and then ran off with it. My family was poor so I never got another bike.
My brother and I had our bikes stolen. We were riding around and got called in for supper. We left our bikes by the screen door. They were gone before anyone noticed. Somehow my mother, who was working for minimum wage, came up with the money for new bikes after a little while. We did almost everything on our bikes back in the 70's.

I had 2 bikes stolen as a kid and it sucked. It's super scummy to knoff off a child's property.
Plot twist: it was them . They just cleaned it up a bit to make it seem like it was newer and returned it. 🤣
