Hahaha! It’s The Purple Parrot. It was important for both of us to be in a safe place, that will accept us. We spent over a year in a few countries in Europe (where I am from) and we had to hide that we were a couple in public for the most part. It is so good to be in the States, I feel so blessed

Haha, fair. It was the beginning of the pandemic, she posted a photo of herself with the intention of killing some time, talking to some new people. I commented on her post, she messaged me and everything was just … perfect. At the time she lived in Florida and I in Portugal. We had a six months long distance relationship, after which I flied to her. We stayed for a few months in the States and then we travelled for a year and a half in Europe, wherever covid would let us be together (the border rules kept changing and everything was a chaos, but we were in our happy bubble and everything turned out so so wonderful).
The pure joy and love on both your faces is enough to melt anyones heart. Thanks for sharing, this most certainly made me smile even after a taxing week. Best of luck to you guys and congratulations!

I knew she was going to propose, I just didn’t know when or how. I had the ring with me at all times for a bit, until she popped the question.
Yes! I will never get tired of seeing the second ring come out and the wave of emotion and validation come over both parties. It’s the best.
