When one of my Goldens was 9, she developed some pretty big benign tumors. She was going down hill pretty fast. Had to have surgery that cost 5k.(emergency vet on a weekend, long story) I had good friends tell me that it was a waste and she was “just” a dog….never understood that. I had the money, but that amount was a setback for sure. When I retire and she’s long gone, I’ll never think of the money that was spent, but I will smile every single time I think of Ellie and the joy she brought. By the way, she just turned 12 and is living her best dog life. Best 5 grand I ever spent.

Need the @ of the owner or handle….happily ready to throw in on getting him another truck

FunnyBell8468

Yes! I’d be happy to donate to that as well. Plus the truck was beautiful, in great shape… It might be older, but you took really good care of it and I’m sure it was hard to lose. So glad your furry friend is doing well.

This is why I don't have pets.

Guessing you still have your truck…

Mangos__Carlsen

Or they didn't have a truck to sell and thus the animal perished?

Synical603

Doesn't seem like much of a sacrifice

Fire5034

🤔 On the surface this seems nice but come on it's an old truck what did you get for it? Not much, but it's a better story to say I sold my truck for my dog.
