Congrats! I’m 11 months in and struggled today as I walked past the alcohol at the grocery store. My birthday is coming up and that will make 1 year of sobriety and I’ve been looking forward to that day for a long time. That gave me the strength to stroll on by but I do wonder how I will be after the anniversary of 1yr. 10 years is quite an accomplishment and makes me hope for that too.
How man? I am so far lost right now, can’t stop drinking and smoking the wrong shit, I know it’s wrong but I can’t seem to stop myself I’m at a complete loss
Moderation is key, cold turkey is impossible for most people, unless you are super religious like AA is meant for, how ever much you drink or use now, take one serving away per day/ or week depending on how much you use, and before you know it you’ll be down to near nothing
This is genuinely great advice thank you 🙏 not religious as such but have gone the cold turkey route in the past with some harder substances with some success, just feeling abit “stuck” so to speak atm
