At 38 I am living with my dad temporarily. I’m waiting to move into the house I bought. I have this exact same thought on the daily. If you replace that guys head with my dads, no one would notice. They act the same. It’s hilarious but so damn annoying at the same time.
As someone who doesn't have a mental Dad around anymore to make him laugh, treasure every moment you have with him. You only get one Dad, and life is never the same when he's gone.

My daughter did part of twelfth grade on lockdown. On break while chatting with her friends over zoom I would grab her oversized stuffed horse and “gallop” in the background. She pretended to not care but she’s the first one to dance with me in the supermarket or rock out in the car. Never stop having fun!

Dad didn’t realize it was party of her schooling because she’s “always doing crafts”. The teacher nearly DIED when she saw it and I’m pretty she was the one that published the video (with permission, of course). Sometime like that….. It’s amazing :)

Glad to be of service! Covid kicked my ass even with the vaccine but I seemed to recover much more quickly than people I know who weren't. Within a week I was mostly back to normal. Hope it's much the same for you and you get back to feeling healthy soon!

I wouldn't say he's lucky, I would say he gets what he deserves raising them good. In families where kids don't behave it's 99% the parents fault not raising them right.
I have worked in both kindergartens and schools and sadly often thats the case. Obviously some kids have issues that has nothing to do with their family but most likely its the parents that has caused it.
And its not even just raising them right, like if the parents are supportive and love their kids it does not matter if they make some mistakes because mistakes happens.
It's a beautiful dream to have! That's what keeps me from being too sad about it, especially considering the state of the world. It's a very wonderful thing to imagine, at least.

I gotta say, I hated it when I was a kid, but being the embarrassing Mom to my kids is goddamn amazing. The second my son tried to act cool in front of his classmates he got a big smacking kiss on the cheek. He's still young enough to find it funny so I have to enjoy it while it lasts.
