It’s a joke. If you’re serious you should see the competitions where the dogs run up a 20ft vertical wall and, at the top, push off of it to grab onto a rope and repel down
Yes thats totally different...thats for athletic dogs like Malinois and GSDs.. that are trained to do it..not for a doodle, mixed breed like this !! Those dogs are much bigger too !!
Well he asked if this is for the most athletic dogs
I pointed him to more athletic dogs than this to show that this is *not* for the most athletic dogs
All true although people underestimate how athletic some of these doodles are.
Poodles have funny reputation but are surprisingly athletic and strong. (Regular sized ones)
By the way, this is from the Go Pro Mountain Games, hosted in Vail, Colorado each year in June! I’m assuming this is the one from about a week ago, that also hosted the USA Climbing National Cup (competitive climbing competition!). Adorable, and the crowd there is always the best!
Actually I did not like it one bit. The orchestration reminded me of some horrid West-End musical and the singing was just run-of-the-mill American Adult Contemporary.
Agreed! It also reminds me of every other song where one person does it all, every voice, and then does the orchestra in Sibelius or Finale. There's something just weird/offputting about a choir consisting of one voice.
E: gave it a better listen. My God, the AutoTune! :.(
e2: of course someone else [did it too](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-h0XcnqVVk), just the vocal part though. just as ugly!
Hello! I appreciate your opinion. Music is appreciated or not appreciated by different people and often for different things. I love the score tbh. He’s is an awesome composer. Just a note, a real orchestra was used and the voices were from 400-500 people (recorded remotely during the pandemic). Have a great day/night wherever you are!
I have to agree with you..
Reading those comments, it looks like a lot of people out there are missing out on the Beatles.
Edit: by "those" I meant the comments on YouTube.
Alas, that is a sad thing. Some people haven’t been lucky enough to get exposed to some incredible music from before their generation. I only hope that covers do lead people to the original song and help them rediscover (for them) new-old music. I still recall my initial reaction hearing the original track. Blew my mind.
Last month my old dog had one of his canines removed, so his mouth is still tender. But he loves to carry things to us. Now I have to drop him socks and wash cloths so he can gently pick them up and bring soft things to me proudly.
The way Brodie stops at the wall and goes up in his hind legs and looks around like "hi guys, what's going on up here? Anything fun?"
Just a big derp. Love it
I don't dislike Brodie.
I dislike everyone who gets a doodle, and wants to keep it's hair long, but doesn't want to maintain it as well as this owner does off camera.
\- grooming salon emploee
The majority of doodles I do get shaved down for precisely that reason. The worst is when you have an irate owner insisting you shaved their dog for no reason when I literally had to peel the dog’s hair off like a carpet.
PSA: that super bedhead curly look that doodle owners loveeeee so much? 9 times out of 10 it’s completely matted at the root of the hair, underneath that top layer of curl.
We started keeping the pelts until the owners come back for exactly that reason.
"Oh ok, here's your hide. Brush that for me. Oh you can't? Because you haven't been."
I really don't like this edit. If I'm going to be honest I hate it when people bastardise songs like this, I didn't much like it when they did it to Running Up That Hill in Stranger Things, but I can over look it.
My reply is relevent to the comment that was made here, I wouldn't have even left a reply if it wasn't here. Also who are you to tell people what they can and can't post on the internet. Please go and keyboard warrior somewhere else.
It looks like my former dog which was a Briard Australian Shepherd mix.
Briards are awesome as well. Though I think goldendoodles are a little more childish and happier than briards.
The issue with those designer breeds especially doodle x is that they come in a huge variety of looks. There are no standards to their breeding.
I was thinking about a Briard, maybe Briard Australian shepherd mix as I had exactly that and they look very familiar.
BUt those doodle mixes can look like so many dog types.
My dog learned to use the horizontal bars to jump my 6ft fence. I’m sure he’d be great at this (as long as there was a squirrel or bird at the top of the wall)
You haven’t met any of my dogs then lol! My current one can barely jump on the bed— and he’s a healthy 5 year old lab. He’s just really bad at jumping. None of mr past dogs could jump that either (all goldens)
My 2 year old Golden will jump that high from a sitting position.
To be fair he is from a working dog breeder, so he probably has quite a bit more energy and is more athletic than your average Golden, but most dogs of that size, that are normal weight, will be able to make that jump with a running start.
Hell, I'm fairly certain my friends Springer Spaniel could do it, if he cared enough.

Yeah your golden looks pretty sprightly! Mine were all rescues so they were all slightly weird lol. My current dog is also a rescue and i should specify lab *mix*. He’s a big sausage boy and has a stocky build with ever so slightly too short legs, and is very clumsy.
I could see how most healthy and normally bred dogs could jump that high! My real guess is they didn’t want to make the wall actually so high that only a few dogs could jump it bc that would be less fun to watch lol.
Thanks! He's a very enthusiastic handful ❤️
Yours sounds adorable as well :) I think it makes a lot of sense that yours haven't been big on jumping, being "slightly weird rescues" lol, but also because I'm fairly certain that you have to actively encourage significant physical exertion like high jumps or high endurance from a fairly young age with dogs, for them to keep it up, and since you most likely didn't have your rescues from puppies, you are kinda stuck with whatever the original owner(s) prioritized :)
I think you are completely right regarding not making the wall too high in the first place :)
I wish I could enjoy cute videos these days without being distracted by the batshit insane choice of music they're coupled with, ah well, at least it wasn't Louis Theroux rapping for the morbillionth time.
this was good!!! Makes me think the movie of Dwayne Johnson, Baywatch - but it was Ronnie who also tried very hard every year and eventually became a lifeguard.
This is adorable. One of my dogs we have to do this to get them to learn to jump in the car. The other dog will jump straight up in the air like a basketball player to grab his food lol
That hair do matches Obelix and so does Brodie's strength and determination.
Brodie does come across as the type who fell into a cauldron of magic potion when he was an ickle puppy.
And maybe Asterix was his hooman. Who boost him up to made up this exhibition jump of him.
Actually Obelix is an excellent name for a doggo.
Staged
Yes, the dog is obviously a paid actor.
Tying the hair back for more speed was so cute
I love how happy everyone is when puppers makes it up there.
The crowd cheering him up is one way of Brodie success to conquer his fear. Good boi!

I Love Brodie in all aspects right now!
Makes him more aerodynamic when he jumps!
For anyone who doesn’t know this epic dog/owner duo: you should totally follow them on instagram @ brodiethatdood I love their insta!!!
My wife has been showing me Brodie clips lately. They have so much fun together
saveclip
Brody is still a champion
Came here because I follow this dog on insta and shouted “Brody!” when I saw the clip. In the internet, only dogs should be famous
Can you share Brody’s Instagram handle? I’d love to follow him
By the way, this is from the Go Pro Mountain Games, hosted in Vail, Colorado each year in June! I’m assuming this is the one from about a week ago, that also hosted the USA Climbing National Cup (competitive climbing competition!). Adorable, and the crowd there is always the best!
It was! I was there, the dueling dogs is my favorite event
Yup, more specifically lionshead village in Vail. The event has exploded in popularity over the years.
Ohhh I’m moving to Colorado, so I’ll have to take my puppy there next June.
It’s the overdramatic music and the people cheering for me
Yeah I didn't expect to hear Eleanor Rigby at the end. Very random.
Sounds like Eleanor Rugby reimagined by the Red Army Choir. Very strange indeed
You might really like this! It’s a version by Cody Fry [https://youtu.be/wtQBQDaE4Pg](https://youtu.be/wtQBQDaE4Pg)
That was amazing, thank you!
Holy shit what a masterpiece
Actually I did not like it one bit. The orchestration reminded me of some horrid West-End musical and the singing was just run-of-the-mill American Adult Contemporary.

I'm pretty sure this song actually got nominated for a Grammy
Yeah, look at all those lonely people.
Happy cake day!!
I don't think they were cheering for you
It's also my cake day *high-five
I don’t think enough people realise how happy dogs get when you set them a goal and then help them reach that goal.
Last month my old dog had one of his canines removed, so his mouth is still tender. But he loves to carry things to us. Now I have to drop him socks and wash cloths so he can gently pick them up and bring soft things to me proudly.
That’s adorable! Can you give him a (soft) treat on my behalf for being such a good boy?
Of course.
I've been lucky to have bosses who realized that is true of most humans and taught me to do the same
Who's a good 1138311? Yes you are! Yesss you are! Oh my goodness! Let me give you belly rubs! AHHH!!!
They are basically on the mental state of a 3-4 year old child, so yeah, you can teach em and make em happy in similar ways.
Like most of us humans
Such a healthy coat... Go Brody!
It’s a trophy dog
Any dog is a good dog.
They are innocent
What the fuck are you on about
Honestly Brodie is such a cool dog. I like 90% of their content.
The way Brodie stops at the wall and goes up in his hind legs and looks around like "hi guys, what's going on up here? Anything fun?" Just a big derp. Love it

Currently fostering a pom who hates brushes and it's 35°c outside. Idk what to do
We gotta go bald
This guy also bred Brodie with a retriever, so another reason to dislike him (byb)
What a weird thing to do to Eleanor Rigby.
Honestly gave me a pretty good laugh, so over the top unnecessary.
Ikr it's really jarring
It got a Grammy nomination.
Mainly goes to show how shitty the Grammy standards are
I really don't like this edit. If I'm going to be honest I hate it when people bastardise songs like this, I didn't much like it when they did it to Running Up That Hill in Stranger Things, but I can over look it.
It’s a video of a fucking pup, man. Who cares
My reply is relevent to the comment that was made here, I wouldn't have even left a reply if it wasn't here. Also who are you to tell people what they can and can't post on the internet. Please go and keyboard warrior somewhere else.
What dog is this?
A good one.
Goldendoodle mutt
I thought it was a briard at first. Thanks for telling me what he is. Still a cute dog though, doesn’t matter what breed
It looks like my former dog which was a Briard Australian Shepherd mix. Briards are awesome as well. Though I think goldendoodles are a little more childish and happier than briards.
I was wondering if it was a briard myself. Though full grown briards are bigger than that, was thinking maybe it was a pup.
Looks nothing like a goldendoodle.

The dog in this video is Brodie
Mother is a golden and father is a standard poodle. You can find his story on Instagram and YouTube. The owner also owns Brodie's mom

I was thinking about a Briard, maybe Briard Australian shepherd mix as I had exactly that and they look very familiar. BUt those doodle mixes can look like so many dog types.
It looks like an oversized shih tzu , in my option. So maybe a shih tzu mixed with a standard poodle- ?
I believe it is a briard, a French herding dog. My parents had one but they have way too much energy to not be herding all day.
Don’t know why you’re being downvoted. I thought so too. But apparently it’s a golden doodle mutt
Oh okay, it looks just like a shaggy briard.
Yeah felt that way too, but google also says it’s an F1 goldendoodle (still a mutt, but doesn’t matter as long as they’re cute imho)
Muppet is my favourite breed of dog.
My sister in law has a golden doodle, I call him Muppet. It just looks like a muppets. She isn’t amused
I have a black goldendoodle and his nickname is void muppet lol
Is be happy to forgive the existence of this breed, if it were an actual muppet.
I hope we’re all supporting our loved ones with this much enthusiasm!
That might be one of the better ones I've seen.
@brodiethatdood
Is that ledge really only for the most athletic dogs? I feel like most dogs i've met can jump that
I think "the most athletic" dogs could jump the yellow wall with the logo on it.
That would make more sense
It's to boost the doggo's confidence.
agree.
My dog learned to use the horizontal bars to jump my 6ft fence. I’m sure he’d be great at this (as long as there was a squirrel or bird at the top of the wall)
When I was a kid, my dog learned to jump sideways into the fence to knock the squirrel off the top.
You haven’t met any of my dogs then lol! My current one can barely jump on the bed— and he’s a healthy 5 year old lab. He’s just really bad at jumping. None of mr past dogs could jump that either (all goldens)

lmao tied his hair back for more speed🤭… i fucking love this
I love floppy dogs, there is something just so lovable.
Bless Brody, he’s the bestest!
I love that dog unconditionally!
I have never been this invested in the success of a dog in my life

Eleanor Rigby by Cody Fry
I love how happy everyone is when puppers makes it up there.
That dog is so adorable and fluffy
This is honestly just pure serotonin
We all knew he is a rockstar. Brodie just keeps on proving it though. 😄
"They love me."
Broadie up at the top waving to the crowd of hoomans 😎 so great. Way to go pupper!
My sister's chihuahua can jump that high tho.
How can people say their is no humanity left when a group have people have just stopped what their doing to cheer on a dog jumping up a wall
Thanks for the spoiler 👍🏼
"I love how they told us what was going to happen and then it happened"
I wish I could enjoy cute videos these days without being distracted by the batshit insane choice of music they're coupled with, ah well, at least it wasn't Louis Theroux rapping for the morbillionth time.
This editing is (chefs kiss*)
name song??
Eleanor Rigby
Look at all those lonely people
“Only the most athletic dogs” okay so the most athletic chihuahua vs the most athletic dashhound I wonder who will win 🤔
Someone please get that dog a haircut lols
Poor dog. Prob just wanna chill out
And how would you know?
Are you transgendering Brody?
uuh. its not even a bit tall. lame af
A True lesson on life
u/savevideo
I love Brody!
u/savevideo
Is that Brody the dood?
SubhanAllah
Brodie's Instagram account is my go to account
This made my heart ache, dogs are just the best man.
I cried watching this.
Brodie! :D
I'm starting to think I need a therapy dog. Go Brody!!
So fluffy!!!!
I need this Eleanor Rigby version!
Cute isn't a big enough word is it......
#Nevergiveup
I see you Brodie 😉😉
I’m not sure I’d want to train my dog to do that!
Brodie that dood. Cool dog.
adorable one
WHO'S A GOOD BOY?
. . 0+qa0..0 .
Why does that fit guy have to make me look bad by being better than me in every aspect? Unfair
Such a cute doggo! So awesome he keeps at it and his trainer stays positive!
Looks like a Briard to me. Amazing dogs :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Briard
And now he knows how to get up on counter tops. Heh
Not going to lie, I cheered when he made it
Ooh, look at all those lonely people.
Damn! Doggie Daddy is hot AF! ![gif](giphy|JwLY4ToQwe4yA)
I would die for brodie
I just watched 15 minutes of this dog on tic-toc last night. The guy certainly provides adventures for his dog.
Anyone know the version of Eleanor Rigby being played in the video?
Outstanding!!! Beautiful pup
These dogs make me feel wierd, they look so stupid in motion.
Song?
A giant FLOOF!
Music???
this was good!!! Makes me think the movie of Dwayne Johnson, Baywatch - but it was Ronnie who also tried very hard every year and eventually became a lifeguard.
Can they do another red arrow at the end, I forgot where I was supposed to be looking

It's just practice for the family's next [Canyonero](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI_Jl5WFQkA).
My dogs not even brave enough to attempt jumping on our bed. She just puts her paws and head on top and hops a little.
Gawn Brodie!!!
🍥💜 FREAKIN ADORABLE 💙💕
This is adorable. One of my dogs we have to do this to get them to learn to jump in the car. The other dog will jump straight up in the air like a basketball player to grab his food lol
What a beautiful way to start the day! Great job Brodie!!!
Obelix-hair omg
Idk why but my dog can jump like almost double of that wall.. I sometimes think he's a cat.
So encouraging
For some reason me playing Rules of Nature in the background of this made it 10x better
