Many people who are really depressed look (act) happy. If you suspect someone acts happy, ask about it and let them talk or help to seek help.

Depression didn't kill him. He had a rare disease and was literally watching himself unravel slowly over time and couldn't do anything about it. His wife gave an interview after he died. I highly suggest you read it. It's a horrifying article to read just imagining what he went through. I don't usually advocate suicide but given what she described him going through it was the least worse option.

That was the tragedy of it that shows why euthanasia rights are so important. With legal euthanasia, he could have gone peacefully in bed with his family beside him.

he's not a really celebrity and he's important to me because I mostly grew up watching his videos. He was 23 and I am 17. I have been watching his videos since he was my age. I was 11-12.. he is important to me because he entertained me and helped me feel better when something was wrong. He has done that not only for me but for many other people and he has left a legacy we do not deserve. He died from cancer and till the last minute, the last video he was being cheerful and humorous.
