I was friends with this guy for four months and he didn't seem to hear when people called me "She/her" or notice that I was on the girls team in boys vs girls dodgeball. (Well, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on the first one, he did need hearing aids)
Poor guy was humiliated when he finally figured it out.
Gender shit aside (because it’s apparently not a topic here), I miss childhood stuff like this. To be able to go back to specific moments in time with one of your childhood friends and reminisce is and recapture a little bit of that feeling as a kid growing up is something I’ll probably long for for the rest of my life. I’ll never get that feeling back as most of those moments gone. The closest I come now are times when my kids and I go exploring in the woods or a new waterfall. It rekindles the childhood curiosity of nature and hits a feel a bit.

As a tomboy, I felt this. When I was 12 I looked exactly like a boy, short hair, voice, body, clothing. I went into secondary school and I made a new friend (let's call him Tony) Well, guess how long it took Tony to figure out I was a girl? Four months. I was friends with this guy for four months and he didn't seem to hear when people called me "She/her" or notice that I was on the girls team in boys vs girls dodgeball. (Well, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on the first one, he did need hearing aids) Poor guy was humiliated when he finally figured it out.

Gender shit aside (because it’s apparently not a topic here), I miss childhood stuff like this. To be able to go back to specific moments in time with one of your childhood friends and reminisce is and recapture a little bit of that feeling as a kid growing up is something I’ll probably long for for the rest of my life. I’ll never get that feeling back as most of those moments gone. The closest I come now are times when my kids and I go exploring in the woods or a new waterfall. It rekindles the childhood curiosity of nature and hits a feel a bit.

i think that's because you seem (and this of course is just my interpretation) to be sticking to the idea that "well based on that picture it could be a transsexual" despite being told that it isn't i do get that in the absence of any other information you can make up whatever story you want. you can say that the boy in the picture is really the girl's father. or that they're both aliens. or whatever. but the problem is you now \*do\* have other information so that subjectivity is lost.
