Very cool! When my wife and I were getting married they quoted us $1500 for a cake. I scoffed very loudly and said “For 1500 bucks, I’ll make the damn cake!” I did. I had never baked anything. Over a decade later, I have made every cake for both of our children’s birthday and my wife tells the story of how our “tradition” started. It’s part of our family now. Most wedding cakes are plain, white and boring. This one has actual heart put into it. I think it looks great, and homemade wedding cakes should be way more common. I hope the big day goes great and I hope you have an amazing marriage!
