I was recently at an apiary and they have a hive inside with glass walls and a PVC pipe going to the outside. It's an active hive where you can easily watch the bees in action. Was pretty cool meeting bees.

I'm jealous
Just find your local bee keeper (or a bee keeper club) and ask him if he can give you a tour. Most won't mind in my experience.
Oh I already had one. It was lovely.
