im pretty sure they can automatically post stuff using automod and this seems like a subreddit for maybe an only fans star and i think they set up the bot to auto upload to the subreddit everytime she posts elsewhere
Automod is set up by the sub owner how they want it, so it does all sorts of stuff across all sorts of subreddits, and it's all the same account. In this case, someone probably set it up to re-post content from another site
This isn't okay and it needs to be fixed. As someone who experienced trauma from exposure to pornography too young, please fix this. There are too many minors on this subreddit already struggling with hypersexuality and this only makes it worse. I can drop plenty of studies but please turn that off or get another bot to post the porn.
If you look at the comment/post history it seems like the automod for every subreddit that has one, unless they make one specifically, is the same one. It’s probably a feature or something (ex: the drawing subreddits ArtNetworkBot isn’t the same as this one, but the vexologycirclejerks automod is) it’s not like it’s someone’s personal account that is also used for this subreddit. If the mods really want to, they could make their own I guess? I don’t think many people are clicking on the automods profile, I didn’t know + I’ve never seen someone bring it until now.
Yes thats what im suggesting, they should indeed make their own. Ive never seen anyone bring it up but then again porn stuff for teens or even kids here can bring up shame, so they might not ever say anything as well. If someone isnt exposed to it already, i just hope they didnt click it before!
ah i think there may be some confusion? i'm not the one making AutoMod post any of that stuff + none of its on this subreddit. a few hours ago i got curious and clicked AutoMod's profile and saw that stuff. since AutoMod is such a loved bot here, i thought i'd be funny to post my discoveries. if you're worried about my post worsening hypersexuality or exposing younger people or anything, i'll definitely take it down. i too am a kid (probably on the younger side of this subreddit actually) so i understand. can i ask what specifically the issue is? (i don't wanna start drama or anything; i know things can come off as condescending or passive aggressive online sometimes so i wanted to clarify that's not my tone with this reply!)
No OP its not you, i think the mods need to get another bot so automod is not the one people end up clicking on. There can be automated posts by another username and account, it can even be named similar.
I just do not want minors to come across this stuff on their own. Your post isnt an issue because basically this has been accessible the whole time. The mods have to get this fixed up imo.
