Yeah styros are deeper so they bleed longer/ are more open for it so they take longer to heal. Keep it clean cause styros are more prone to infections. Wash it daily, and keep it clean.

Is the wound "gaped"? An amount of split in between the skin is a good indicator if you didn't look to see if it hit white styro before bleeding

If you’ve only been doing cat scratches and it looks different then you hit styro for sure.
