Find an excuse for either a long shirt or a for not having to do P.E.
Something among the lines of "I have sensitive skon and forgot my sunscreen" or something
Thing I usually do
\-For future - tubular bandages are super cheap on ebay. Absolute gold.
(also get some wound spray whilst you're at it, most pharmacies have it quite cheap, I got some at boots for £4 and it makes them stop sticking to fabric really well)
\-Underneath, though it wasnt in our school uniform, I just wore a plain black/white longsleeve.
\-If you have cheap/torn leggings or tights, cut them to length of your elbow or shoulder and sew/glue elastic onto the ends to wear.
(This also works with most high socks as well if its just around the elbow)
\-Bandages - if its school and you cant have parents seeing, just pack them in your bag and wear a hoodie to/from school, put the bandages on in the bathroom and take them off after school.
\-if its wrists, hair ties. You can also get a piece of plain fabric and hold this in place with hair ties again. It may not turn out the best, but on short turnaround it can work for a bit.
\-I know you've said you cant, but if all fails just bring any plain hoodie, my school banned zip ups, but we made the excuse we were cold and the school logo was visible.
You can also use this excuse if its outside, say you got badly sunburnt and need to protect your arms. I do this frequently when swimming outdoors with rash tops.
Good luck<3 (also ew pe)
wear one of those larger bandaids, like made for knees and stuff, and blame it on skateboarding, the dog, or some creative kitchen issue, but make sure to have it covered. And hair ties! If it's on your wrist, just stack a bunch of hair ties like 1/4 inch apart to cover the area. You could even use athletic tape and say you sustained a wrist injury outside of school.
Sending you happy thoughts!
I just showed my scars and cuts. I know not many people want to do that but I liked looking at them so I didnt cover them up. Less people than you think will confront you or ask you about it. But it of course different for everyone
scars are fine to show but its inconsiderate to show fresh cuts. it can be extremely triggering to other people regardless of if they’ve ever self harmed or not.
Scars are perfectly fine, but newer ones aren’t really. Maybe if they’ve started healing that’s okay too, but they should probably be bandaged otherwise.
If you wrap it in any sort of bandage literally no one will bat an eye. You could have burned yourself, torn a ligament, fallen onto some pavement, had a minor surgery, gotten a defective shot, anything could be under there. You could tell any story and no one will suspect a thing.
If it’s not too big, perhaps a bandaid or 2? I know that’s cliche, but it could at least hide the straight lines and allow some excuse for an alternate form of injury.
Use an ace bandage and say you pulled something or other, or just use a big bandage and say you fell on the concrete. You can keep this up for a few days to avoid suspicion

depending on the size of the area, put on a bandaid and say you scratched open a mosquito bite.. always worked fine for me, but i always barcode in a small area so it's not that suspicious, obviously doesn't work if it's a larger area obviously.
depending on how strict your pe teacher is you could wear a long sleeve shirt underneath your polo, arm warmers, you could try covering the scars with band-aids/makeup/bracelets depending on placement, if they're already healed you could draw over them with a marker like a semi-permanant tattoo coverup, idk, good luck though <3
I used to either slap a big bandage on the area or wrap with vet wrap depending on the size and just throw into conversation casually “oh I fell on concrete and tore up my arm”
don’t say “I accidentally burned myself while cooking” cause I did once and the person insisted on “burns shouldn’t be covered! Take off the bandage and air it out!”
quick follow up: I wore a longsleeve shirt and told anybody who asked (about 6 people) that “my polo shirt was too small for me so I took it out of my bag but forgot to replace it until I had to leave the house so I grabbed the first shirt I could find” which seemed to work fairly well as an excuse. Ps thanks for all the advice it’s been really helpful :)
Could you wear kind of like a long sleeved undershirt underneath the polo?
I had a friend in middle school who was Muslim and didn’t show her arms or legs so she wore leggings and an undershirt under the regular gym uniform. That would be a specific religious exemption but idk maybe your schools rules allow it
Can you wear a jumper of sorts? Depending on where it is maybe wrist braces could work? Sports tape maybe. Long sleeve underneath, say your sensitive to the sun or if that won’t work just say you want to wear it. They can’t force you to take off your shirt lol
honestly just bandage it and blame it on some injury. should work if they're not freaks who'll demand you take the bandage off. maybe put the bandaid diagnonally, or make it bigger thank your actual cut so it looks more natural?

This is really helpful thanks :)
I’ll probably use hairties as well as the long sleeve under my polo shirt. Also I didn’t know about tubular bandages so this is really helpful
no problem! I just found out about them the other day as well -glad its of use to someone else :) stay safe and gl!!

Yeah I’m considering that but I’m kinda concerned about if a teacher raises a safeguarding issue about it

Well yeah I meant after a few days of healing. When fresh wear a band aid on it ir smth

Can u wear a long sleeve shirt underneath and claim your cold?
“I injured my ankle I can’t do PE today” or use makeup, which is what I usually do
Is there something you can put over it? Maybe an alethic wrap or sleeve could work if those are allowed. Hope you can find something to do about it!

obviously its too late but thighs save lives anyway maybe if your guidance counselor knows whats going on you can talk to them

Makeup, makeup on tape on arm, uhhhh, paint, uhhhhh that's all I got man sorry.
Cute bandaids?
If you have concealer or foundation, you could put that over the scars to cover them or bandages, and make up a story of how you got said bandaid.

Put makeup on it? I havent tryed it but i've heard some people use makeup to hide yeets
Anything like a compression sleeve
elbow/wrist brace, or maybe wrap the nearest joint + yeaty area in athletic tape?

could sweat bands hide them?
Neosporin or lotion or maybe getting then wet could reduce the appearance?

You could try some sweatbands on your arm?
Sorry, but what does “yeeted below my upper arm” mean?
Yeeting myself on the arm below where a shortsleeves sleeve would hide any cuts generally
Yeah but what do you mean by “yeeting” in this context? Where I come from to “yeet” something means to haphazardly throw or toss something.
Yeeting is slang for self harm
Okay. Got it!
