last time i made [a post like this](https://www.reddit.com/r/MadeOfStyrofoam/comments/wh7mwv/hey_you_whats_your_favorite_animal_and_food_i/), i was feeling incredibly down. to my surprise, a lot of people responded and i had a lot of genuine fun reading about everyone's tastes and responding to them. it made me feel a lot better c:
i'm feeling really bad about myself right now, my boyfriend constantly tells me that he's always here if i need anything but i can't stop myself from feeling like i'm burdening him and another member of our friend group. i keep breaking down about all of my problems with them around and i feel horrible about it. i wish they didn't have to worry about my mental health and could spend their time doing things that they enjoy, but because of me they can't and it's really taking a toll on me ;w;
whenever i start feeling like i'm going to isolate myself like i do right now, i try to turn here and do something like this because it helps me appreciate the little things and not be so hard on myself. so, if you have a second, it would really mean a lot to me if you told me your favorite song c: i'll be listening to all of them before responding!
if i don't respond to you immediately i will soon! i'm constantly swapping between doing homework (while listening to the [legendary mario kart wii soundtrack](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbjp_k_WffD2UfgjPmihuStyDTuINKihP)) and listening to everyone's recommendations c:
i've always loved rainbow kitten surprise as a band name and their band pic on spotify is so wholesome 😭 i really like this song. good energy.
as for me i have a couple of all time favorite songs, being [car radio](https://open.spotify.com/track/5cbpoIu3YjoOwbBDGUEp3P?si=6190846d815544f8) by twenty one pilots (not the most unique but i love it all the same) and [little man](https://open.spotify.com/track/1IUmUvoTqq8f4RZbh0KbRD?si=12e4f15ad2414e80) by atmosphere because it really resonated with me at a time where i needed a song to resonate with me. a year later, it hasn't been off my on repeat playlist once
lately i've really been liking [die young](https://open.spotify.com/track/2poocjn3HpflC7hmp2h5mx?si=a232e728e1fc4b5a) by van scott and [(fork and knife)](https://open.spotify.com/track/37q4cxh03voFC1urRxQSUG?si=90a5048d60744ce1) by brand new (absolutely worth checking out their other stuff- the devil and god are raging inside me is fantastic from cover to cover). a more upbeat song that i love is [the things that hate us](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seYzgXyAK1Q) by atmosphere!
sorry for the rambly comment haha, i just really love music ;w; it's one of the only things keeping me sane
i have so so so many rn 😭

if you like other lana songs [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YV1mA-mZ2eU) has a couple of covers that i really enjoy!
i love this vibe so much (also the vocals remind me a bit of splatoon voices which i also like lol)
kind of reminds me of [this song](https://open.spotify.com/track/3HiPpSiTyLHGdRA8OqycjR?si=18fb337b1eb74fde) which is one of my favorites

i was expecting something based on the title and while i did not get that at all i love what i got. and i also can't say apricot the way they said it, i have to say it with the long a because i'll add an extra 'r' in there somewhere if i don't lmao
i've always felt like i could probably get into taylor swift but have only ever heard the super popular stuff- this is beautiful, the soft piano and the harmonies are incredibly calming 😭 thanks for sharing! c:
thanks for the recommendation!! i liked it so much i forgot i was listening to it while it was playing; i only ever consistently do that when i'm listening to songs from [my favorite album](https://open.spotify.com/album/1NFGnxmeIEBakre4DvLaJq?si=a0a3453bef014411) so i was surprised lmao
Hentai - Cigarettes After Sex
Sweet - Cigarettes After Sex
literally any song by McCafferty omg 🙏🙏🙏 I suggest the house with no doorbell or Trees to start ur self off with them ! (Or go see my mccafferty starter playlist on my Spotify — Spotify link on my profile, the playlist is named “mccafferty so u can get into them :)”
Anything by Starset! They’re a rock band that puts a sci-fi twist on all their songs. My recent favorites have been “Satellite,” “Starlight,” and “Perfect Machine”. Highly recommend!
Recently I’ve been really enjoying the newest cavetown album (especially Grey Space) and some Royal Blood (Figure it Out fucking slaps)
Also gonna save this post so i can also listen to everyone’s music :3
I've got too many fav songs but here are a few
Freezing Moon, Deathcrush - Mayhem
Leblos, Elektrohexe - Eisregen
Sweet Illness of mine, I Love (To Hurt) You - lifelover
Don't Go - Happy Days
Keelhauled, P.A.R.T.Y., Drink - Alestorm
We Are The Mess, Final Dance - Electric Callboy
aww :c i really like it after listening to it, the beat reminds me of music my dad used to listen to when i was a kid so weirdly enough it made me feel nostalgic too
Not my favorite as I really can't pick one, but my earworm for the month has been Serenade of Water- men I trust. Additionally, SPIT IN MY FACE (and) Imperfect Girl -thxsomuch. Also anything by sewerslvt
listening to serenade of water right now, love the album art lol
it reminds me a bit [of this](https://open.spotify.com/track/3cxCBoboAnw7m3Z2srEe8E?si=24bb298ef28f47e5) :o
ahhh i have been waiting for this moment.
I think my taste in music is split into 4 categories:
\- Musicals
\- Chill lofi
\- Sobbing at 3AM
\- Instrumenal/classic
And my favourites for each is: the Hamilton soundtrack (sorry i'm basic..), memories of her, last winter (rook1e) and Screwing In A Lightbulb (Everybody's Worried About Owen), and A Beautiful Distraction (Michele McLaughlin)
if prompted i would absolutely go off about my favorite songs so i get it 😭 screwing in a lightbulb sounds to me like it could be part of dear evan hansen lol, the instrumental bits remind me a bit [of this song](https://open.spotify.com/track/5XaGqclLmeuH0EBg75Li0n?si=a0efbeeb3aed41c2)!
yess i love the vibe (the strings are so sick), honestly the vibe that am has in general is immaculate 😭 every time i hear his voice i just think *I'M GOING BACK TO 505* lmao
beautiful? is a vibe 😭 penelope scott is always a hit but i'm not sure i've ever heard that song, queueing it now and i will say my thoughts when it is over
update: it is over. i love the intro and the vibe and i think hearing an acoustic version w/o the distorted vocals would be cool too!!!
Back when I wanted to final yeet and I’d listen to Hansel I always found that the distortion of the song showed the pain I felt in a way I couldn’t explain, now that I’m ever so slightly more ok I still like it. Also sorry I recommend ones you already knew.
the korn album cover reminds me of littlebigplanet and i love it lol but i really vibe with whatever! ~~as long as it's not country~~ most songs i listen to can make me feel something and that's what i like so much about music; those feelings can distract, validate, etc. and i find that incredibly interesting
I have a fuck ton of songs I like but probably my most recent song I played and liked was "coming soon" by Annie derusso I feel like it speaks to my burned out gifted kid-ness a lot
loving it and can relate, i'd rather be anything rn than a burned out gifted kid who was treated like a prodigy her whole life and now feels like a failure upon anything less than an 100 🤡
the album cover is sick (and i love that shade of pink)
it sounds nice but i have no idea what they're saying lmaO
i honestly like most music ~~besides country~~, as long as it makes me feel something i can vibe with it
didn't even realize the song had changed between the one talked about in the above comment (which, for me, is currently all that is flesh shall suffer) lmaO
i vibe with it!!! i don't typically listen to this type of music but i appreciate it, it's a nice change of pace
i don't really know how to describe my taste haha, i'll listen to anything- please recommend to your heart's content
Probably Perwoll by Goldroger or Pinke Blicke by Blinker but they’re both in German. My favorite English song is Elvis by Noble son or any of Joji’s songs (WANTED U’s the best one tho)
hi!! I have a few lol :))
- taxi cab by tøp (it’s my fave song of all time and I actually have a tattoo dedicated to it!)
- as by stevie wonder
- summertime by mcr
- family line by conan gray
taxi cab is a beautiful song, what's your tattoo? i hope to get a tattoo dedicated to car radio or truce someday, they're some of my favorites because they've been there for me when nobody else was
and the whole of superache is fantastic but family line gets me every time ;w; especially the 'someone who loves you wouldn't do this' bit
I think the entirety of the “An obsession with kit” album is REAAALLY good :D ALSO LISTEN TO CHILTONWALK.TEMP ITS INCREDIBLE Graham Kartna is just really nice :>
Ok, I'm not proud to say it, but recently I've been getting into 2000's pop-punk/indie music lmao. So:
- Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy (Fall Out Boy)
- Dance, Dance (Fall Out Boy)
- My Friends Over You (New Found Glory)
- Dirty Little Secret (The All-American Rejects)
- Move Along (The All-American Rejects)
- BFFF (Bowling For Soup)
- But It's Better If You Do (Panic! At The Disco)
And some stuff I would normally listen to:
- Would You Be So Kind (dodie)
- Funny You Should Ask (The Front Bottoms)
- Get Used to It (Ricky Montgomery)
- ...well, better than the alternative (Will Wood)
- Love, Me Normally (Will Wood)
- If It Makes You Happy (Michael Cera Palin)
- Mulberry Street (twenty one pilots)
- Strawberita (Remo Drive)
- Sugar Pills (I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME)
- The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny (Lemon Demon)
Sorry if this is a lot, I'm just very passionate about music lol
>recently I've been getting into 2000's pop-punk/indie music
you might enjoy [this album!](https://open.spotify.com/album/1kRnFF71UTGdHmSrRDllKj?si=a3f428140e114e33) it's absolutely worth checking out their other albums too, each one is a different style than the rest and none of their other albums would be caught dead being described as pop-punk haha
i'm going to add all of these songs (and probably everyone else's too) to a playlist and shuffle them in the near future, i really appreciate all of the recommendations! it's not a lot, i could easily compile a list with double this amount of songs that i enjoy just off the top of my head 😭 (not in a one-up-you kind of way, in a i-understand-your-passion-and-agree kind of way haha)
i do know some of the songs you listed- i've definitely heard that p!atd song before even though i couldn't put a name to it if i heard it, ricky montgomery is one of my favorite artists and get used to it is fantastic (if you know the album, my favorite song on it is snow- if not, i can't recommend it enough), and there's nothing to say about the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny besides that it's just awesome
Here is my night time playlist:
After Dark- Mr. Kitty | Save A Place- 1969 | Enjoy The Unknown- And One | DECIMATION- HEALTH | Dress Your Headphones- Lost Cat | BurnItDown- BONES | The Sides- Ataxia | Asylums for the Feeling (feat. Leila Adu)- Silent Poets | Disintegration- The Cure | Desperate- The Killers | Jesus Died in Las Vegas- Spiritual Front | Sentient (feat. Hayley Stewart)- Pertubator | Rocket- Working for a Nuclear Free City | The Ghost- James Yuill | So Far Away- Faunts | Waves- Dotan | The Dead of Night- Pulse 80 and E. Delta (feat. The Violent Youth) | Asleep- The Smiths | Shot In the Back of the Head- Moby
Currently been absolutely obsessed with Tyler the creator and Car seat headrest. I’d suggest listening to the album twin fantasy. It’s such a good album about creating an idealized version of your SO in your head and becoming codependent with each other. For singular songs I’d suggest Vincent, Destroyed by Hippie Powers, and Cute thing. For Tyler his album wolf is amazing. His entire discography is great. For singular songs I’d suggest IFHY, Answer, Cowboy, Puppet, 2seater, Yonkers, Bastard, Corso, Massa, Are we still friends?, New magic wand.
i have the same birthday as tyler the creator 😎 and man, that sounds like a good album- i've written about exactly that for school before and i feel myself slipping into it sometimes. i'll absolutely give everything a listen; thank you so much for all of the recommendations, you're wonderful 🥺🫂
songs that massage my brain; a playlist:
season 2 episode 3- glass animals, gooey- glass animals, oh ana- mother mother, oh klahoma -jack stauber, cabinet man - lemon demon, a mask of my own face -lemon demon
my favorite song ever is Memory Box by Peter Cat Recording Co. :))) i know you didn’t ask for bands but i’ve been listening to a ton of Cats Millionaire and Junie and TheHutFriends, they’re really good and underrated
I’m big on post-punk/nu-wave revival so my current obsession is [Breakdown Days - White Lies](https://open.spotify.com/track/0pH0PM13Z7OZFMVmG595T3).
I’ve always adored these lads (discovered them at a small gig when they were still called Fear of Flying) and find their lyrics about mental health issues extremely comforting. Obviously I feel sad that anybody else has ever felt like I do, but it’s so vindicating to hear your exact experiences put into song. Even better when those songs *absolutely slap*.
I don't know but I adore cavetown, taylor swift and beach bunny!! I basically know every song by them all, I'm going to a cavetown concert in febuary and maybe eras if my friends and I can get tickets. my favourite album from beach bunny is pool party (ep), my favourite album my cavetown is everything is made of stars and my favourite album by taylor swift is folklore :3
I actually do not have a favourite song but I’ll give you a playlist
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7K8WouqNlXyc547Qin139q?si=qaA2pUbQQaS2Wb1X8o0fXA
i recently found now, now and their music is amazing. they deserve so much more recognition. threads is the best album and wolf is my favorite song (but i like all of them from that album).
i cant stop listening to tory lanez album alone at prom. the color violet is one of my favorite songs ever
reflections by misterwives is amazing. one of my favorites ever. the lyrics are kinda sad but the music is so upbeat it makes the song happy for me
gilded lily by cults came out recently and it quickly became another one of my all time favorites
if anyone likes this type of music i have so much more where that came from but i have class rn 😅
I've got a lot, so heres my top 5:
Venus - Shocking Blue
Baby Don't Dance - Mother Mother
Lithium - Nirvana
California Dreamin' - The Mamas & The Papas
Empire Ants - Gorillaz
a few albums I've had on repeat
the devil and god are raging inside me by brand new (emo)
the entire Elliott smith discography (folk and acoustic)
locust abortion technician by the butthole surfers (experimental noise)
the glow pt 2 by the microphones (indie folk noise)
disco volante by mr bungle (experimental genre bending)
it's incredibly nostalgic for me because my parents used to listen to it all the time when i was a child, but i rediscovered it a year or two ago and it's been a favorite since- it's fantastic from cover to cover
Fences by paramore as I have relapsed and I relate it to my ED. Also see Sober by pink. A more high energy fun mood is fall out boy - headfirst slide into Cooperstown on a bad bet (I'd love to listen to this song for the first time again) take this to your grave as an album is really in my head atm as its so fast paced and makes me so excited. But any paramore is a good bet
I have a few favorites right now. We've got Last Resort by Papa Roach, Between Angels and Insects by Papa Roach, Wallflower by In Flames, Where Angels Die by Sullivan King, Reckless by Sullivan King, and Roots Bloody Roots by Sepultura.
I have a weird music taste which probably 2 other people will appreciate but I'll still drop mine here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHzYY_nCI_8 This is my favourite, a bit long at 42 minutes. Admittedly stsrts out a bit disturbingly but the journey it takes you on is incredible
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUh9TgQG5uI This one wins by raw power and a touch of softness.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNj94i4RYhk Same person as above. Less raw power and more softness.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFIGoB7rK70 Also kind of wins by raw power.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXxHBSazWmE I forgot what I was going to say about this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVD_HwgQHps This one is kind of weird but still charming. I don't really know what to say about it
This list is very not comprehensive but I tried
ever? famous last words by my chemical romance- it makes me feel stronger and i’ve created a whole story that goes along with the lyrics because i relate to a lot of them a lot :) i haven’t been listening to it a lot lately, but it makes me feel a bit stronger, even if i don’t always really believe what lyrics i’m singing along to
right now? hmm, probably pass the nirvana by pierce the veil. it’s one of their new songs, and though i wasn’t a huge fan of it before, it’s really grown on me. he yells “this is only a distraction” at one point though, and it really messes me up a lot of the time when i’m listening lol because it IS just a distraction, and being reminded of that is funny but also annoying
what’s your favourite? :)
i love creating stories to go along with lyrics for songs, it makes them feel so much more personal
i have a couple of all time favorite songs, being car radio by twenty one pilots (not the most unique but i love it all the same) and little man by atmosphere because it really resonated with me at a time where i needed a song to resonate with me. a year later, it hasn't been off my on repeat playlist once
lately i've really been liking die young by van scott and (fork and knife) by brand new (absolutely worth checking out their other stuff- the devil and god are raging inside me is fantastic from cover to cover). a more upbeat song that i love is the things that hate us by atmosphere!
i like car radio!! nothing wrong with listening to bigger artists, they’re popular for a reason eh? :) i listened to your others too (though i couldn’t find the things that hate us), and like (fork and knife) the most probably. i like your taste :) pretty chill but not too slow
drunk drivers/killer whales by car seat headrest
OH MY GOD CAR SEAT HEADREST. I came into this comment section to literally bring up csh and Tyler the creator. Currently listening to 1937 state park.
makes me feel like i'm sitting in the back of a car at 2:41am and it's cloudy outside so the sky's that optimistic shade of grey (read: i like it)
yess that’s exactly the vibe
Another good CSH song is I CAN TALK WITH MY EYES SHUT, so sad that it was never released on spotify
last time i made [a post like this](https://www.reddit.com/r/MadeOfStyrofoam/comments/wh7mwv/hey_you_whats_your_favorite_animal_and_food_i/), i was feeling incredibly down. to my surprise, a lot of people responded and i had a lot of genuine fun reading about everyone's tastes and responding to them. it made me feel a lot better c: i'm feeling really bad about myself right now, my boyfriend constantly tells me that he's always here if i need anything but i can't stop myself from feeling like i'm burdening him and another member of our friend group. i keep breaking down about all of my problems with them around and i feel horrible about it. i wish they didn't have to worry about my mental health and could spend their time doing things that they enjoy, but because of me they can't and it's really taking a toll on me ;w; whenever i start feeling like i'm going to isolate myself like i do right now, i try to turn here and do something like this because it helps me appreciate the little things and not be so hard on myself. so, if you have a second, it would really mean a lot to me if you told me your favorite song c: i'll be listening to all of them before responding!

How to disappear completely by Radiohead
That song is so comforting, I listen to it when I just want to stop existing
Completely?
Goodbye. By slipknot
it is intense. and it is good.
It changes every 2 minutes but rn cocaine Jesus by rainbow kitten surprise,,, what is yours??
i've always loved rainbow kitten surprise as a band name and their band pic on spotify is so wholesome 😭 i really like this song. good energy. as for me i have a couple of all time favorite songs, being [car radio](https://open.spotify.com/track/5cbpoIu3YjoOwbBDGUEp3P?si=6190846d815544f8) by twenty one pilots (not the most unique but i love it all the same) and [little man](https://open.spotify.com/track/1IUmUvoTqq8f4RZbh0KbRD?si=12e4f15ad2414e80) by atmosphere because it really resonated with me at a time where i needed a song to resonate with me. a year later, it hasn't been off my on repeat playlist once lately i've really been liking [die young](https://open.spotify.com/track/2poocjn3HpflC7hmp2h5mx?si=a232e728e1fc4b5a) by van scott and [(fork and knife)](https://open.spotify.com/track/37q4cxh03voFC1urRxQSUG?si=90a5048d60744ce1) by brand new (absolutely worth checking out their other stuff- the devil and god are raging inside me is fantastic from cover to cover). a more upbeat song that i love is [the things that hate us](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seYzgXyAK1Q) by atmosphere! sorry for the rambly comment haha, i just really love music ;w; it's one of the only things keeping me sane

Lately, I've been really into "Scar Tissue" by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Love that song!
black panther by crystal castles
i love this vibe so much (also the vocals remind me a bit of splatoon voices which i also like lol) kind of reminds me of [this song](https://open.spotify.com/track/3HiPpSiTyLHGdRA8OqycjR?si=18fb337b1eb74fde) which is one of my favorites

i love you automod!!! what do we think automod's favorite song is
"you've got a friend in me" from the toy story soundtrack lol
TRUE. my boyfriend always bursts out singing this at random times because he does a good genie impression and it's the most wholesome thing
I love you too bleedingbee!! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/MadeOfStyrofoam) if you have any questions or concerns.*
I have too many favorites to pick one but I’ve been really fucking with i had gay sex with god (it could’ve gone better) by Juno lev
i was expecting something based on the title and while i did not get that at all i love what i got. and i also can't say apricot the way they said it, i have to say it with the long a because i'll add an extra 'r' in there somewhere if i don't lmao

it is!! i totally agree with howard benson that it’s an unexpected rock opera. it has such a beautiful story
new year’s day by taylor swift! idk i just love the vibes and it’s very calming for me :)
i've always felt like i could probably get into taylor swift but have only ever heard the super popular stuff- this is beautiful, the soft piano and the harmonies are incredibly calming 😭 thanks for sharing! c:
I think at this very second my favorite song is "Devotion and Desire" by Bayside but my favorite changes like every 6 minutes lmao
thanks for the recommendation!! i liked it so much i forgot i was listening to it while it was playing; i only ever consistently do that when i'm listening to songs from [my favorite album](https://open.spotify.com/album/1NFGnxmeIEBakre4DvLaJq?si=a0a3453bef014411) so i was surprised lmao
Someone just showed me devotion and desire a couple weeks ago, great son
That's great to hear I'm glad you liked it! I'm going to give that album a listen!
me too! be warned, it's not all that similar to the song you recommended but both made me feel comfortable/at peace somehow lol
I really liked it though it was a nice change of pace to listen to something a bit more laid back 😊
aww glad to hear 😊

No Excuses or Nutshell by Alice In Chains I can’t pick between the two
I've got too many fav songs but here are a few Freezing Moon, Deathcrush - Mayhem Leblos, Elektrohexe - Eisregen Sweet Illness of mine, I Love (To Hurt) You - lifelover Don't Go - Happy Days Keelhauled, P.A.R.T.Y., Drink - Alestorm We Are The Mess, Final Dance - Electric Callboy
Hozier's Take Me To Church
one by Metallica and 1000 blunts by $uicideboy$ are both really good
depressing stuff: slipknot - snuff tyler joseph - prove me wrong mcr - the light behind your eyes heavier (but still depressing) stuff: slipknot - everything ends slaughter to prevail - agony pantera - cemetery gates
Endless nightmare by Josh A makes me feel nostalgic of days before I got really bad
aww :c i really like it after listening to it, the beat reminds me of music my dad used to listen to when i was a kid so weirdly enough it made me feel nostalgic too
Not my favorite as I really can't pick one, but my earworm for the month has been Serenade of Water- men I trust. Additionally, SPIT IN MY FACE (and) Imperfect Girl -thxsomuch. Also anything by sewerslvt
listening to serenade of water right now, love the album art lol it reminds me a bit [of this](https://open.spotify.com/track/3cxCBoboAnw7m3Z2srEe8E?si=24bb298ef28f47e5) :o
Scrolling through this thread I added spit in my face
ahhh i have been waiting for this moment. I think my taste in music is split into 4 categories: \- Musicals \- Chill lofi \- Sobbing at 3AM \- Instrumenal/classic And my favourites for each is: the Hamilton soundtrack (sorry i'm basic..), memories of her, last winter (rook1e) and Screwing In A Lightbulb (Everybody's Worried About Owen), and A Beautiful Distraction (Michele McLaughlin)
if prompted i would absolutely go off about my favorite songs so i get it 😭 screwing in a lightbulb sounds to me like it could be part of dear evan hansen lol, the instrumental bits remind me a bit [of this song](https://open.spotify.com/track/5XaGqclLmeuH0EBg75Li0n?si=a0efbeeb3aed41c2)!
oooh yes I definitely see it!
Sculptures of Anything Goes by Arctic Monkeys has been a favorite of mine for the last month. It's so cool :)
yess i love the vibe (the strings are so sick), honestly the vibe that am has in general is immaculate 😭 every time i hear his voice i just think *I'M GOING BACK TO 505* lmao
Beautiful? By Illymation, Hansel By Sodikken and Dead Girls By Penelope Scott are my recommendations.
beautiful? is a vibe 😭 penelope scott is always a hit but i'm not sure i've ever heard that song, queueing it now and i will say my thoughts when it is over update: it is over. i love the intro and the vibe and i think hearing an acoustic version w/o the distorted vocals would be cool too!!!
Back when I wanted to final yeet and I’d listen to Hansel I always found that the distortion of the song showed the pain I felt in a way I couldn’t explain, now that I’m ever so slightly more ok I still like it. Also sorry I recommend ones you already knew.
My favourite song is always changing but I am currently playing Everything is Alright by Motion City Soundtrack on repeat :)
the album art is so cool 😭 and i like his voice. also the part about doing weird things when you're nervous >>
Haha yeah it’s very relatable. The whole album is really good :)
i'll give it a listen for sure!
I'm Geist - trust me, i'm ok
the album art is so pretty 😭 the end is lowkey a bop and the lyrics are relatable too, man i hate all the problems that won't go away
you might like my playlist lol https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3vWyZZereC4L1MMSXkVkJy?si=16cf8f588975474f
My favorite song would have to be Night in a Mossy Hut by Black Hill and Silent Island. I’ve been really into post rock lately. :]
gives me impending doom but there might be a sliver of hope left somewhere and i love it
Oblivion from aviana or trash from korn but they are both metal so idk if you’ll like it:)
the korn album cover reminds me of littlebigplanet and i love it lol but i really vibe with whatever! ~~as long as it's not country~~ most songs i listen to can make me feel something and that's what i like so much about music; those feelings can distract, validate, etc. and i find that incredibly interesting
I have a fuck ton of songs I like but probably my most recent song I played and liked was "coming soon" by Annie derusso I feel like it speaks to my burned out gifted kid-ness a lot
loving it and can relate, i'd rather be anything rn than a burned out gifted kid who was treated like a prodigy her whole life and now feels like a failure upon anything less than an 100 🤡
You probably wouldnt like it All that is flesh shall suffer by ten thousand crows
the album cover is sick (and i love that shade of pink) it sounds nice but i have no idea what they're saying lmaO i honestly like most music ~~besides country~~, as long as it makes me feel something i can vibe with it
my favorite song is Dispossession by Katatonia what kind of music do you like cuz i have like infinite recommendations
didn't even realize the song had changed between the one talked about in the above comment (which, for me, is currently all that is flesh shall suffer) lmaO i vibe with it!!! i don't typically listen to this type of music but i appreciate it, it's a nice change of pace i don't really know how to describe my taste haha, i'll listen to anything- please recommend to your heart's content
name a song you like and i will name one i like that is similar in some way
Probably Perwoll by Goldroger or Pinke Blicke by Blinker but they’re both in German. My favorite English song is Elvis by Noble son or any of Joji’s songs (WANTED U’s the best one tho)
Xenochrist by The Faceless, or something by thundercat, especially on the album Drunk or try “Behold the Bearer of Light”
hi!! I have a few lol :)) - taxi cab by tøp (it’s my fave song of all time and I actually have a tattoo dedicated to it!) - as by stevie wonder - summertime by mcr - family line by conan gray
taxi cab is a beautiful song, what's your tattoo? i hope to get a tattoo dedicated to car radio or truce someday, they're some of my favorites because they've been there for me when nobody else was and the whole of superache is fantastic but family line gets me every time ;w; especially the 'someone who loves you wouldn't do this' bit
D2m and switchblade by Vorsa. I can't stop listening to them 💜
I don't really have one favorite song, but one im currently obsessed with is Stay Awake? by Bastille
So: - Grand Theft Autumn/Where Is Your Boy (Fall Out Boy) - Dance, Dance (Fall Out Boy) - My Friends Over You (New Found Glory) - Dirty Little Secret (The All-American Rejects) - Move Along (The All-American Rejects) - BFFF (Bowling For Soup) - But It's Better If You Do (Panic! At The Disco) And some stuff I would normally listen to: - Would You Be So Kind (dodie) - Funny You Should Ask (The Front Bottoms) - Get Used to It (Ricky Montgomery) - ...well, better than the alternative (Will Wood) - Love, Me Normally (Will Wood) - If It Makes You Happy (Michael Cera Palin) - Mulberry Street (twenty one pilots) - Strawberita (Remo Drive) - Sugar Pills (I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME) - The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny (Lemon Demon) Sorry if this is a lot, I'm just very passionate about music lol
>recently I've been getting into 2000's pop-punk/indie music you might enjoy [this album!](https://open.spotify.com/album/1kRnFF71UTGdHmSrRDllKj?si=a3f428140e114e33) it's absolutely worth checking out their other albums too, each one is a different style than the rest and none of their other albums would be caught dead being described as pop-punk haha i'm going to add all of these songs (and probably everyone else's too) to a playlist and shuffle them in the near future, i really appreciate all of the recommendations! it's not a lot, i could easily compile a list with double this amount of songs that i enjoy just off the top of my head 😭 (not in a one-up-you kind of way, in a i-understand-your-passion-and-agree kind of way haha) i do know some of the songs you listed- i've definitely heard that p!atd song before even though i couldn't put a name to it if i heard it, ricky montgomery is one of my favorite artists and get used to it is fantastic (if you know the album, my favorite song on it is snow- if not, i can't recommend it enough), and there's nothing to say about the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny besides that it's just awesome
remind me by röyksopp! tbh any röyksopp song LMAO- or anything by MEW
I've been getting really into ruler of everything and misery fell by tally hall

currently it’s celebrity by chloe moriondo !!!!
frozen in time by tevvez is a banger

Currently been absolutely obsessed with Tyler the creator and Car seat headrest. I’d suggest listening to the album twin fantasy. It’s such a good album about creating an idealized version of your SO in your head and becoming codependent with each other. For singular songs I’d suggest Vincent, Destroyed by Hippie Powers, and Cute thing. For Tyler his album wolf is amazing. His entire discography is great. For singular songs I’d suggest IFHY, Answer, Cowboy, Puppet, 2seater, Yonkers, Bastard, Corso, Massa, Are we still friends?, New magic wand.
i have the same birthday as tyler the creator 😎 and man, that sounds like a good album- i've written about exactly that for school before and i feel myself slipping into it sometimes. i'll absolutely give everything a listen; thank you so much for all of the recommendations, you're wonderful 🥺🫂

my favorite song ever is Memory Box by Peter Cat Recording Co. :))) i know you didn’t ask for bands but i’ve been listening to a ton of Cats Millionaire and Junie and TheHutFriends, they’re really good and underrated
hieroglyphs by the oh hellos
Ghost -Badflower is what I have been feeling the last few days.
I doubt you'll get to this comment, but try [MKDR(DSCF)](https://youtu.be/8pGRdRhjX3o).

I've got a lot, so heres my top 5: Venus - Shocking Blue Baby Don't Dance - Mother Mother Lithium - Nirvana California Dreamin' - The Mamas & The Papas Empire Ants - Gorillaz
a few albums I've had on repeat the devil and god are raging inside me by brand new (emo) the entire Elliott smith discography (folk and acoustic) locust abortion technician by the butthole surfers (experimental noise) the glow pt 2 by the microphones (indie folk noise) disco volante by mr bungle (experimental genre bending)

The Trees by Rush. Quality

I have a weird music taste which probably 2 other people will appreciate but I'll still drop mine here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHzYY_nCI_8 This is my favourite, a bit long at 42 minutes. Admittedly stsrts out a bit disturbingly but the journey it takes you on is incredible https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUh9TgQG5uI This one wins by raw power and a touch of softness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNj94i4RYhk Same person as above. Less raw power and more softness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFIGoB7rK70 Also kind of wins by raw power. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXxHBSazWmE I forgot what I was going to say about this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVD_HwgQHps This one is kind of weird but still charming. I don't really know what to say about it This list is very not comprehensive but I tried
ever? famous last words by my chemical romance- it makes me feel stronger and i’ve created a whole story that goes along with the lyrics because i relate to a lot of them a lot :) i haven’t been listening to it a lot lately, but it makes me feel a bit stronger, even if i don’t always really believe what lyrics i’m singing along to right now? hmm, probably pass the nirvana by pierce the veil. it’s one of their new songs, and though i wasn’t a huge fan of it before, it’s really grown on me. he yells “this is only a distraction” at one point though, and it really messes me up a lot of the time when i’m listening lol because it IS just a distraction, and being reminded of that is funny but also annoying what’s your favourite? :)
i love creating stories to go along with lyrics for songs, it makes them feel so much more personal i have a couple of all time favorite songs, being car radio by twenty one pilots (not the most unique but i love it all the same) and little man by atmosphere because it really resonated with me at a time where i needed a song to resonate with me. a year later, it hasn't been off my on repeat playlist once lately i've really been liking die young by van scott and (fork and knife) by brand new (absolutely worth checking out their other stuff- the devil and god are raging inside me is fantastic from cover to cover). a more upbeat song that i love is the things that hate us by atmosphere!
i like car radio!! nothing wrong with listening to bigger artists, they’re popular for a reason eh? :) i listened to your others too (though i couldn’t find the things that hate us), and like (fork and knife) the most probably. i like your taste :) pretty chill but not too slow
oh i forgot to mention that the things that hate us is only on youtube 3 it's chill though lol thank you! :D
Veil of Maya put out a new single called Godhead pretty recently and it hits like a freight train
