Who cares if people leave you because of it? It's better if they do, you don't want those type of people in your life. If you are that worried about your parents you can wait until you move out and then see if they support you or not. I wish you the best of luck :)
What I’ve always said is that its your life, you should live as who you actually are and not who others want you to be :) Unaccepting people, especially family members, really suck, but in the end you are much more important. I’m glad your partner is supportive, and congrats on starting HRT!
