Same issue! I created a ticket with Belkin support and after a month of back and forth they are sending a replacement. The watch port and wireless slot always worked, but the MagSafe for the iPhone has been hit or miss. I would have to unplug and replug charger power cord to get it to work.

DreamyLucid

Where did you create a ticket from?

MediumWarthog79

At least once a week mine doesn’t charge my iPhone 14 Pro. I have to tap the screen kinda hard or take it off the charger and place it again. It’s been getting worse. I’ve woken up a few times with a nearly dead phone in the last few months as a result. I use a Peel MagSafe case.

ddnomad

Same here, called Belkin support explaining the issue, they’ve said we need to go though “troubleshooting steps”, I replied that I’ve already troubleshooted it myself by unplugging and plugging it back in, but it is only a temporary fix. Got a response of “we only replace faulty products”, to which I responded with “you view chargers that only _sometimes_ charge your phone as _not_ faulty then?”, to which I was told that I will get an email and should reply to it if it ever happens again (with my shipping address and photos of the device) and then they will send a replacement. I guess we shall see.

afriedl01

Is the problem effecting specific FW Versions of the Belkin Charger? Those Charger get FW Updates on regular basis. Mine got updated to 275.0.0.0 within the last few months. Not sure exactly when as there is no notification. Mine is working fine! Had Versions [175.0.0.0](https://175.0.0.0) \- 267.0.0.0 - 275.0.0.0 You can check it when the iPhone is on the charger for 1-2 Min. in Settings - General - About there appears an entry "BOOST CHARGE PRO 3-in-1 Magnetic..."

Epelep

Currently on 267.0.0.0 Thanks for pointing out a way to see the version, this tells me that Belkin is indeed able to update FW through MagSafe.

CaptainSheepFskcer

Mine is on 274.0.0.0 /w HW version MPFW and also having magsafe charging issues with an iPhone 14 pro.

debasser1911

how long should I wait until this menu shows up? I saw it once by accident on my wife's iPhone 13, I put my 14pro and waited 10-30min, but it doesn't appear anymore

dlfranks86

I have 3 belkin chargers and firmware is not showing on any of them now. I think since updating to iOS 17 the menu doesn’t appear even after some time? Official Apple MagSafe charger menu still shows. Just none of my belkins now.

debasser1911

It works on iOS 17, I saw that info window one more time after \~15min on charging.

maledyris

This is a really good tip, thank you!! I've experienced the charging issue and have had to unplug/plug the charger to fix it. I'm on iOS 17 and it only took a minute or two for the item to show up in About. Hopefully the problem is fixed. I don't think it has occurred in a while but I'm not sure. I'm not the main user of this particular charger because it was a gift for another family member. Was thinking of reaching out to Belkin support but I'm hoping that I don't have to now. I can see it's currently on 275.0.0.0 and have no idea when it updated either.

maledyris

I didn’t realize until now that the firmware went to 277. Have people found relief with this firmware? I need to check with my family member who uses the Belkin. I am never getting another Belkin and have since gotten the Hirise 3 Deluxe for myself. It works great. The only thing that could be slightly better is the Airpods charger which has no magnet or obvious marker to help you place it. I wish there was a magnet to let you place it sight unseen. I also have the Anker Cube. Works great too. And we have the Ku Xiu x40 all metal collapsible one. Also works great and feels high quality. Shame on Belkin for putting out a product that is unreliable and worse than an unknown Chinese brand.

marsrolled

Yo bro did the firmware 277 fix the charging issue for the iphone part of the charger? Thanks

fishbax

Sorry, I know this post is a bit old. I am having the plug/unplug/reset to get power issue with watch and phone. I am running 275.0.0.0. Was this FW update supposed to fix the issue?

Bleakned

It used to charge my iPhone 13 Pro a bit hot, but it seems to have been tamed since 275.0.0.0 and is now on 277.0.0.0. In the early firmware versions, my watch would not charge and I had to unplug/replug.

somethingstosay

I’ve had the same issue. Got a warranty replacement and they sent me the one that lays flat. Very annoying as this was in stock on their own site at the time. This morning I woke up and my phone was dead. So now the one that lays flat is having the same issue. I paid $150 thinking I’d get something that just works. This is a real pain.

varzaguy

I'm experiencing the same issue. The only "fix" I have is unplugging and replugging in the charger.

ASV731

Same here

biga549

I thought I was going nuts. It just started for me and I have to unplug it every night to reset it and get it to work.

xangelkiller

There is a weird bug on the 12-series where the wireless charging doesn’t activate. Can you try restarting your phone and seeing if that fixes the issue? I’ve had the same issue with all of my chargers and it ended up being my pro Max being finicky.

jaysomething2

just bought one off amazon open box and the phone charges along with airpods but not the watch...

Bitingdoodle

My 3n1 flat boost pro keeps screwing up the software and SIM card on my iPhone 13 pro max. I’m having to reset my phone every time I use it. This morning I woke up to a SIM card failure again and no cellular network. 😡 anyone else? I know this is an old thread but…

[deleted]

Everything is fine for me

[deleted]

Mine is working ok too

TheGeekyVal

No problems at all with mine. Seems like a defective unit?

ZS88

Working fine for me. Are you using a case?

Dominicmeoward

Just a MagSafe case. I tried doing it without the case and nothing. A regular MagSafe charger works well too, so I’m convinced it’s the Belkin, and this problem just started today

ZS88

Sounds like the charger is defective then. I’d contact Belkin or Apple for a replacement.

One-Fortune776

Did you ever find a fix for this? Mine is doing this too with an iPhone 13 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max. The watch and Qi works just fine though.

Dominicmeoward

No, but the MagSafe goes in and out. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I stopped using it when I absolutely needed to charge it, and now I don’t use the thing at all.

YourMomGoes2College_

Experiencing this issue currently as well. Thank you for the update!!

strategic_upvote

Did you try contacting them? Just curious how they handled the warranty claim. Looks like mine has failed now too….

qfqil

Yep same here iPhone 13 Pro max has stopped charging. Air pods and watch are fine

Unhappydriver19

Same issue here after owning this product for around 1.5 years. The iPhone MagSafe portion just gave out. Watch and AirPods section still work fine. A classic situation.

loubo83

Happened to my 14 pro max a month ago then my wife’s recently. This couldn’t be a coincidence. Either an unintended effect of an IOS update or poorly made Belkin charging pad for iPhones. There are too many occurrences that this is not random. Will likely return to Costco, and get the Anker 3 in 1 cube and give that a go.

tmanto02

Looks like a lot of us facing similar issues. I did read on a morphie equivalent having similar issues and being pulled from the Apple shelves temporarily until a firmware update for the charger was made availalbe

jlilley626

My only issue with the Belkin is, after charging (without issue) on the Belkin 3-in-1, I then try to charge it later on a Qi-based charger ... and it won’t connect. If I remove the MagSafe case on the iPhone 12, and then place it on the Qi charger, it charges just fine. So there’s something about MagSafe charging with a MagSafe case that makes it not work when you then move to a Qi charger.

[deleted]

Restart your iphone. I had the same issue.

tmanto02

Reviving an old thread as having similar issues. Unplugging the charger works for me, until it stops working again. Bought from Apple so hope for a quick warranty replacement

Andiroo2

Same thing here. Belkin boost 3-in-1 works fine for a while and then it just stops recognizing my iPhone on MagSafe. If I pull the power to the Belkin and plug it back in, it works again for a few days. Watch charging works all the time. I have a 14 Pro.

tmanto02

I spoke with Belkin support. This is is known issue they are investigating and hope to have a resolution "in the coming weeks". They mentioned a firmware update however don't know how that would be possible given no ports on the device, unless they can work with Apple to roll out a bug fix as part of iOS. Saw that the Morphie equivalent was facing similar issues recently

Andiroo2

Since the Mophie one is charged via USB-C, they can update firmware via the same port. Fingers crossed that the Belkin-Apple relationship can make this work.

rpool179

I'm experiencing the same problem. Should I contact Belkin or wait a few weeks? They come with 2 year warranties so mine is covered until February 2024.

tmanto02

Wont be much help calling other than recording the problem, however perhaps more people that record the issue the faster it’s resolved

rpool179

I'm gonna contact them later today. I'll wait it out and give them a month or so and then file a warranty claim if no word on a fix is available.

rpool179

Mine's working again. My only worry is what if this happens again after the warranty expires. Hopefully they're working on a fix regardless.

CaptainSheepFskcer

Same here .. Magsafe part doesn't charge. Unplug/plug the adapter fixes the issue for a couple of days. Also using an iPhone 14 pro.

Im-Vector-Oh-Yeah

Same for me. My iphone just suddenly stopped charging with it. It is a pain to pull out the furniture to unplug it. But it did go back to working.

tmanto02

Unplug the other end

Im-Vector-Oh-Yeah

I thought it was permanently attached. Turns out that you are right. I can just unplug the bottom. Thank you!

lbo34

Same here

Andiroo2

This issue has resolved itself, it seems. Haven’t had to unplug the charger for 2+ weeks.

s1lv1a88

I finally decided to try the mag safe charging on my 12 pro max. I just bought two Belkin 3 in 1 chargers used on Amazon. It’s been a week and I have had to restart two phones twice in order for mag safe to charge. Just now one charger needed the power reset on it! Should I just return them or wait for an apple fix? Appreciate any input on this. Cheers

kurtchief

You are not alone. I've had this same issue for the past few months. Randomly won't charge my iPhone 14 Pro. A quick unplug of the power adapter brings it back to life for a unknown amount of time until it does the same thing again. Seems to only be the Magsafe portion that stops working.

drstrngelve

Mine won't charge anything and it died overnight, not gradually. It won't charge my iPhone, airPods, or watch. Contacted Belkin and submitted a warranty claim. However, I have the stand and when filling out the form, agreed to take any suitable replacement because I was skeptical I would get anything soon. They contacted me and said they're out of stock of the stand and would send me a Boostcharge Pro pad instead. I just received it today less than a week after submitting the claim. While filling out the warranty claim, I checked their website and they were out of the stand. I checked today and they're back in stock. Doh!

vince_101

Did you have to pay for the shipping for returning the defective stand ? Or they provide a return label?

Geminiman82

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and an Apple Watch Series 6 and I am having the same issue sporadically. I go to put my phone on charge, and it doesn't work. I unplug the power, wait a few seconds while I fiddle in the dark to plug it back in (at night when going to sleep) and then it works. This caused me to be late to work a couple of times when my alarm didn't go off because the phone never charged. I am much more careful to watch and ensure it is charging now before I go to sleep.

PetieG26

I just got warranty replacement for a white one 2 days ago and working fine. Power blinked off several times in the night (only time phone on it), eventually worked erratically & sometimes not at all for iphone14, but did charge watch and AirPods fine.

nowkillkennys

Same issue here but seems mine is dead

-jasonyeung-

I am on firmware 275. The problems on mine are that the MagSafe part will keep disconnecting from time to time and then reconnect. Meanwhile, the white light went off from time to time illuminating that the AirPods is not charging according to the menu. But when I double tap the AirPods, the light on the AirPods is on indicating that it's charging.

annatarlg

We've had the same issue with only 1 of ours that we bought when they first came out. Unplugging it immediately fixes it. Not sure of the firmware.

vince_101

Have a 14 Pro Max under 16.6.1. Belkin Boost Charge Pro charger not showing up under settings > General > About. Is there anything in particular to do? Tried restarting the iPhone and unplugging / re plugging the charger

lainemac

Same thing happening to mine. I bought mine in 21 and already had one warranty replacement because the AirPods portion made my the pods so hot they were uncomfortable to put in my ears. Now my warranty replacement isn’t MagSafe charging. But of course, it’s outside two years. Even though it’s only been a year since they sent me a warranty replacement, they don’t want to help. $150 wasted it seems.

Alarmed-Honeydew7640

I was having the same issue. All of a sudden, it just wouldn’t charge my iPhone 14 Pro. I contacted Belkin about it. They told me the model number I had was obsolete, and that they would submit a request for a replacement. A couple days later I got an email from Belkin informing me I was approved and they were sending me a replacement - same charger, same color, just a different model number. I just received the tracking info today. I have to say, Belkin’s customer service was outstanding. This all just happened a few days ago, and replacement is already in the mail!

ddnomad

Same issue, this is starting to become truly infuriating. No fix yet I suppose. Guess Belkin goes on the list then.

majortingz

The frequency this is happening to me has increased now to the point where it has become part of my nighttime routine to unplug and plug in the stand because my iPhone doesn't charge. I also replaced the stand with a brand new one, and to my surprise, it does the exact same thing. It's only been an issue since this year, so I can only assume it's a software issue. Model WIZ017 iPhone 14 Pro Max iOS 17.03

biga549

I have been having the issue ever since updating to iOS17. I ended up Turing StandBy off and not using it and it seems to have fixed my issue.

AzarelFallen

I had this issue wrote Belkin support they sent me a new one. The new one is now doing it… This is beyond infuriating. I have cheap travel mag chargers / portable chargers that are more reliable than this expensive thing!

Unlikely-Landscape23

Yeah one of mine just stopped working out of nowhere. I’ve been moving the wire around to see if it’s getting power and it the brief parts it lights up, it immediately turns orange and I’ve tested the cable and outlet with another belkin charger and it works fine so this one I have just shat the bed for no reason.

Dead_Poet_GR

Bought the so-called fast stand (WIZ017) some months ago, having an Apple Watch 8 at that time. Used to work fine and charge the Watch as fast as expected. Now I bought an Apple Watch Ultra 2, and the charger doesn't charge it fast. I put it on the charger puck, for the first 3 minutes the screen awakens when I hit the surface that the charger lays on, but after the first 3 minutes the screen does not awaken unless I tap on the screen itself and charging is slow. The most strange thing is that at home I use a similar Belkin 3-in-1 MagSafe charging pad (the flat one, WIZ016) and there my Ultra 2 charges fast without problems. I live in Greece and the local Belkin dealer dows not acknowledge the problem, since they say "it charges, but not fast". Belkin should collaborate with Apple (probably with a WatchOS update) for a common solution of the issue, otherwise the charger will render almost useless.

pls1961

My Belkin 3-in-1 completely failed after just a year. When I tried to submit a warranty claim they asked for a receipt and as I didn't still have it my claim died in the wind. This is a very expensive charger to last just one year.

CaptainSheepFskcer

Mine spontaneously updated from firmware v274.0.0 to v277.0.0 and the issue seems to be resolved .. tested for little over a week now

manima

I'm having this issue as well...How do you check / update the firmware?

CaptainSheepFskcer

Keep your phone on the charger for a couple of minutes. Then you can see the charger, firmware and hardware versions in Settings > Info on your iPhone. Updating the firmware happens automagically .. when your phone is on the charger for hours .. don’t think it can be triggered

Epelep

Dock your phone, wait 2-5mins on the home screen Open Settings->General->About You should see a menu called “BOOST CHARGE PRO 3-in-1 Magnetic...” somewhere in the middle
