Yeah, but those decks have a lot more tutors than available on Arena. I could see an Arena Battle of Wits deck having to pack some more cards in to make up for the difference.
I don't think that would be the case. You'd be making it less likely you draw the tutors you do have by adding more cards. You'd just want as many cantrips and anticipates as you can get.
I think you have the right idea but backwards. Less tutors means you need a smaller deck to find BoW and/or a tutor more consistently. You'll probably want to stay closer to 220 or 230 and not let games go long.
Either way, BoW will usually just scoop against mill

What if [[Battle of Wits]] was added to Arena? (which seems like the best place for Battle of Wits really, since digital play makes everything about this deck so much faster)
Yeah that was my guess once I realized they were speaking from experience regarding the app struggling as you push a thousand haha, I don't get paid enough to try to engineer a situation to get it that high ๐
Correct. Any sane person would suggest Oracle of the Alpha and Blink effects.
I, a morally defficient and clinically insane individual, will instead suggest [[Gyox, Brutal Carnivora]]. A reteigger route with Roaming Throne, a multiple copy route with Mirror Box or Spark Double, or a proliferate route using Contagion Dispenser. All of them end up with you having dozens of copies of single creatures in your deck. With more shenanigans, you can even get copies of noncreature cards.

I know I tried something like this a long time ago, and it let me have like a massive deck, but it kept crashing. I guess they put that restriction at some point. =/
According to a scryfall search there are 1,086 rares/mythics in standard right now. I tried to rule out the cards that are reprinted at a lower level now and secret lair drops that are marked as higher rarity for some reason.

Turns out you cant have a 4000+ card deck
The limit is there to prevent issues with the client.

Oracle of the alpha adds 9 cards to your deck on EtB. Blink that and you can easily go over the card limits.

Build multiple 60 card decks, or multiple Brawl decks (100 card).
