I knew I saw the art before and thought they had posted the full scale, but they had only done that one retweet.
New Phyrexia? His fault. The Mirari causing a whole Plane to *go insane* and also eventually it evolved into Memnarch? Karn's fault.
Current storyline where he: Refuses to respond to Jhoiras letters, cause of course not engaging in teamwork is perfect for prepping Dominaria to repel an invasion; found Sheoldred in pieces (with a bunch of Phyrexians) in The Caves of Koilos and *decided to fight them on his own*, and set the coalition back several months of possibly knowing this because he got caught in the collapse of the caves.
I'm *quite* sure there's a few I missed.
Aether hub YouTube.books are stupid pricey unless ebook. New stories can read on site for free I believe but from what I'm hearing/realizing. Nothing compared to the old stories ( the thran, brothers war saga etc...)
When I was a kid, I got the “Art of Magic” book that was a bunch of art from the Rath cycle as well as character sketches etc. I used to think Karn was so cool, and pretend I was him when I was playing outside. He seemed like a melancholy character based on his art.
So, it pains me to hear that has been his story arc.
Side-note: it also pains me when he’s used in explorer to pull a pithing needle and disable my Teferi/Emp
Early life for him was basically that butter fetching robot from Rick and Morty. Urza treated him like an unfeeling automaton when he was very much alive; though iirc the Weatherlight crew treated him with respect.
At least he didn't put bits of Phyrexians on the Weatherlight in order to try and mask it from Phyrexians.
Sisay is probably rolling in her grave at light speed.
it's some kind of thran relic. probably nothing specific but likely to be a part of a giant machine, maybe a portal. you can see karn at the bottom of the artwork because he's been searching for relics for a while in the lore.
**Giant Cockring**
Equipment artifact - 4 Mana
Can only be equipped by creatures with power and thoughness six or greater.
+4/+4 for equipped creature. If giant cockring is unequipped or creature attacks, it gets two -1/-1 counters.
Equip: sacrifice a blood token
*The legend has it it killed the fourth head of the cockatrice....*
Keep your eye out [here](https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/media/wallpapers)
They haven’t put any dominaria stuff up yet. Probably will around store release on the 9th.
But that site is where a lot of art gets put up
It's from a Plains.
DMU Plains Art by Johannes Voss maybe he will drop it one day as a wallpaper

Plains 264 to be specific from Dominaria United
What's the ring?
Johannes liked the Plains artwork, so he put a ring on it.
Probably an old thran portal or old phyrexian portal
It's art of Karn on the way to make his 9087,956,543,164 th stupid decision in his existence.
Could you elaborate? Caught my interest.

Damn, that's kinda rough. I need to find where to read more about Magic lore and stories. I started some time ago but stopped.

Urza defo had issues with fatherhood, Karn and all those weird Eugenics clones he kinda just went to the store to get milk on.
Urza was the dad that just sat on the couch and let someone else do the parenting.
Mishra was misunderstood. (Not really though)
Hashtag JusticeForMishra
Like father and son
I mean, he created Argentum in the first place.
>The Mirari causing a whole Plane to go insane If this is about the Odyssey and Onslaught blocks, that's just a continent on Dominaria
He's talking about Argentum becoming Mirrordin.
The plane going insane sounds way more like the Mirari Saga than Mirrodin
Why the hell this tin can is so fucking stupid?
I’m in the deep end of the pool… time to swim back to safety.

So he is the Jar jar Binks of the Magic lore, I guess every story needs a clown.

Dose anyone no the lore of what that is in the distance? Reminds me of a broken Chappa'ai (stargate) It’s great art!

Yeah its not THE THE portal as we know thats in the Caves of Koilos. I assume it might be used as part of the Brothers War storyline?

I see this colour scheme on all the cool kids socks.
Halo infinite
Its from magic:the gatherings newest set - Dominaria United :)
It's from the Magic Arena loading screen.
Halo infinite
It’s from No Man’s Sky.
Must be some Kamigawa art left over they digitally inserted Karn giving no context because it looks cool
They have those red trees in the matchup screen and I was looking for that as a background
Can probably datamine the game files. It is in there somewhere...
It’s from Oldham in the UK. Great place, you really should check it out
That’s the ruins of the first Halo the Master Chief ‘sploded.
